And, its famous tiramisu, of course, which has a vertical shape. And you can accompany the Genovese culinary experience with some delicious Italian wines.

Passeig de Gracia to Mallorca Street (second street on the left after crossing Aragó Street) Car : from the Airport, takes the road of Castelldefels to Barcelona, follow Grand Via de las Corts Catalanes to Passeig de Gracia and turn left to Mallorca Street.

Location is very good, rooms clean and good staff. Noisy rooms ( both from inside and outside) and a little less sophisticated room furniture than you would have expected from internet images.

Wireless facilities make this an ideal business location. A good half hour walk from the Ramblas, but overall a fine clean hotel with excellent service.

Coveniently close to Rambla de Catalunya for restaurants. We did not use the hotel's own restaurant which appeared limited in slection for an evening meal.
One evening we had room service. The meal was one of the best we had in the two weeks we were in Spain!
The staff was wonderfull and the service first class, the breakfast was one of the best offered in any hotel we have used in the past 13 years in Europe. Congratulations to the management and the staff at The alexandra Hotel in Barcelona. They made our stay in that beutifull city even better.
