Our family was in three rooms and there was considerable variation among them. The balcony room on the upper floor was the best, with better air circulation and quieter looking out on the park. It was quite hot while we were in Stockholm. The location was very good and the [website] rate was excellent! We are walkers and even in the heat, enjoyed the walks over to Gramla Stan area. Lots of restaurants nearby. The front desk staff was very good and accomodating. The man in charge had a very dry sense of humor which could be hard for some people, but we really enjoyed him. We would stay here again.
Excellent location, very nice double en suite room. Breakfast was only for two hours and should include more vegetarian options and fish.
Good priced hotel, close enough to the centre of Stockholm, both in terms of walking and taking the subway. What takes the service grade down was the unwillingness to support with what I see as basic knowledge for a hotel, e.g., how to travel to from the hotel to the airport. The hotel didn’t know, nor where they willing to investigate.
Although this hotel in unusual in being in the Sodermalm southern district of the city it is only 3 minutes from the station where the airport trains stop and perhaps 5 minutes from the underground along leafy walkways so I found the location excellent. Next to the underground is the Medborgarplatsen hopspot for nightlife so it's esy to get back at night. The hotel occupies the ground floor of a large block and the accomodation might be utilitarian and the bathroom in my single room decidedly cramped but I wasn't there to hang out in an hotel with a whole city to explore. For Sweden I thought is was very good value for money.
The restaurant was a bit small so there was a bit of a queue for the breakfast. Other than that, absolutely fine!
Very small room at the ground floor, which made you feel quite exposed to people passing by. Otherwise there was everything one could expect.
Stayed in one of their windowless rooms. Not too bad. Didn't feel too claustrophobic. If you turn of the lights then the room is pitch dark, so kept the bathroom lights on and the door ajar. Should have a mural of scenery behind the curtains to simulate a window. Would make the room seem "normal". Breakfast is average but would be better if they had some hot items eg. bacon, sausages etc. Located actually quite close to the Metro station. The directions given could be better. Got lost the first time trying to find the place.
breakfast and breakfast service very good in an otherwise rather impersonal surroundings
Available single room of abt. 1.8 x 4.2 m (incl shower) was very small and not according 3-hotelstars expectations.
Rooms are clean and have everything you need. Nothing fancy, but very good value for money. Nice breakfast.
It was a good velue hotel.
For a central city location you can't really ask for any more for the money. Was clean and tidy and respectable with underground parking (at cost). I had a room with a window which was small(ish), but not as small as other people on here make out - there was still room to spread your stuff out.
Very small rooms!
Old, but renewal ongoing. Room Ok, but bathroom needs to be renewed asap. Cheap and OK for one night stad.
Bearing in mind that I'm British, and our hotels have kettles! I was in a basic single room, wide enough for a single bed with 2ft walking space at the side. I could not put my suitcase on the floor. It would not fit this space widthways. The walls were paper thin. No shelves. I had nowhere to put anything. I had to keep my toiletries in my travel-bag on the floor! The only shelf in the room was part of the headboard, and this had a brass striplight fitted built onto it which made it impossible to sit up in bed! Once I got into bed, I had no choice but to lie down, because if I sat up, the light would fit snuggly between my shoulder blades!! Overall, the design of the room was not at all thought out. It was clean and the staff were friendly. Thankfully, my room had a window, as apparently, some of them don't.
It was a nosie because they was rebuldning the Hotel
The rooms are very suffocating. There could be better utilization of space.
Good, clean hotel.
For the price, this is an excellent hotel.
