Getting there:
The hotel is located close to the Gare de Lyon, within walking distance from many important landmarks, and yet in a very quiet street. Very well served by public transport. The Opera Bastille is just a 5 minute walk, while in 15 minutes you can reach the renowned Latin Quarter. With the underground, it takes only 10 minutes to get to the Musee du Louvre and 15 minutes to reach the Eiffel Tower

J'ai réservé cet hôtel 3 nuits pour 2 personnes 3 semaines avant mon séjour. J'arrive en avance vers midi. Les chambres ne sont disponibles que à 14h donc j'attend et j'arrive à 15h. A ma grande surprise on me case dans la chambre 10 au bord de la rue. Mais une dame et sa fille qui arrivent sans réservation sont logées pour une nuit dans les étages et pas sur la rue. Pas très correct la réceptionniste. La chambre en plus d’être bruyante n'est pas très grande, la salle de bain est par contre grande mais mal agencée avec une cabine de douche de 60cm, c'est très petit pour quelqu'un de grand et large d'épaules. Les peintures au plafond ne sont pas terminées et le carrelage qui donne accès à la tuyauterie tiens par la peur. Je pars un matin à 8h30 et quand je reviens les soir à 18h la chambre n'est toujours pas faite. Alors là c'est branle bas de combat à la réception pour chercher la nettoyeuse de chambre. Même pas de serviettes pour la douche. A part ça pour 3 nuits ça va mais pas plus. Pour le petit déjeuné, allez à la boulangerie pâtisserie qui est à 30 mètres, pour 6euros vous avez la formule petit déjeuner. Si vous le prenez a l’hôtel il vous sera facturé 12 euros.

The room was clean and comfortable. The air conditioning worked well and quickly cooled the room. The attached bathroom was roomy with modern fixtures. A very good room for the price. It was a very short walk from the Gare de Leon train station. We found a grocery and a laundrette within a few blocks. A few interesting things that did not take away from the stay: 1. Every time you leave, you will be required to leave your key-card at the front desk. 2. The beds did not have top sheets; however, the quilt is encased in a sheet-like covering that serves the same purpose as a top sheet. 3. The elevator was very small, so my wife, 2 large suitcases, and I could not all fit in one trip.
