"I clicked "very bad" for the facilities as I took my elderly parents with me on holidays who are both in their 60's. We were given a family room on the 2nd floor with no lifts. The air-con didn't work at all. The ad was for apartment room but the room only had a bar fridge. But otherwise the location & pricing was perfect. Hotel description:    One of only a few hotels situated in the centre of town, the Alice Springs Plaza Hotel offers a wide range of quality accommodation. Being just a short stroll to the Alice Springs CBD and Todd Mall allows you to make the most of Alice Spring’s varied shopping, dining and nightlife experiences.
All rooms offer tea and coffee making facilities, mini refrigerator, luggage storage facilities, and air conditioner. All rooms are non-smoking.

The property boasts two pools, BBQ area, fantastic bar and grill with famous outdoor beer garden!

Melanka Backpackers Resort is opposite the Hotel and offers private or shared facilities, with a beach volley ball court, BBQ area, swimming pool and tour desk.
