Alis Hotel & Spa Krabi

Good ambience with friendly staffs. I really like the place as I feel very comfortable staying. It was like at home. Strongly recommended to others if you are not fussy.

We really enjoyed our stay here. The roof top pool is a bonus. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included lots of lovely fruit, yogurt and whole wheat toast. The omlettes were great,too.

This hotel is in a good location close to the beach and shopping area. 3 things that let it down were, mosquitos in the room. The design of the rooms and whole hotel meant this is unavoidable. Even in the lobby we were eaten alive. Luckily I was there in winter. I couldn't imagine how bad summer would be for mosquitos. Next the bathroom. Other guests can look over into your bathroom (over a small wall). Lastly, the breakfast was not very good - also the breakfast service staff looked pretty bored and disinterested. You had to ask for top up of breakfast items that were finished. I would stay in this area again, put probably not this hotel. There are lots of other hotels in this area, I would try somewhere else.

We were very happy with Alis Hotel, we had booked for 3 nights but ended up staying for 6. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is nice too. They didn't have a twinroom which we had booked, so we were upgraded to a big familyroom. We would like to come back and will recomend the hotel.

Do not have too high expectation of the hotel. Mosquitoe coil a MUST TO BRING! Plus point comes from one of the Male Staff whom is Very Helpful.

Alis is a simple but nice boutique hotel which is about 10min walk away from the beach. Hotel rooms are spacious and uniquely decorated though not very well-maintained. A glass panel allows a view from the room into the bathroom which sports a rain shower. Breakfast was nothing to shout about as spread was limited and not exactly tasty. The free usage of pool table and internet helps make the stay value-for-money.

The manager and her staff is extremely helpfull and friendly. We enjoyed our stay so much and would defnitely recommend anyone to visit this hotel. It is very private and the facilities were excellent. Marius & Anneke Kotze

very pleasant staff, bed are like rocks, can do some work on the rooms, no elevators, little rich on the pricing, take water taxis to island beaches they are terrific

overall, i had a great stay at the hotel. the facilities are good but i was a bit disappointed that i was required to pay for Sauna. the staffs are certainly friendly and helpful. the hotel's ambiance is great but it would be better if more lights were being switched on at night especially at the entrance and its surroundings. some of the areas need a bit of maintenance but overall it was a very pleasant and comfortable stay at the hotel.

Stayed in the honeymoon suite. There was a funny stench in the room and a couple of the lights were not working. There are no room services and not much variety in their complementary American Breakfast. However, the staff are friendly and prompt in their services. The resort has a mini swimming pool overlooking the road, too small for comfort though, if you intend to do some swimming.

Service crew friendly, hotel facilities included free internet, free DVD rental (played over TV channel thus able to watch from comfort of yr room), pool table etc. Love the cosy hotel "setting" as it feels like staying in a friend's big bungalow. Not crowded and slightly away from the beach area so love the peace and tranquility. About 5 mins walking distance away from Ao Nang Beach and the shopping area, hence very convenient. Bed was a little hard and found a cockroach on my last nite ")) Breafast was simple, usually about 3 main dishes like eggs, bacon and sausages with the usual bread toast and cereal. Room is simple and ordinary, with the usual bed, tv and side table/chairs. Toilet was more splendid actually, spacious and more "hotel-looking" then the main room. Overall, was quite cosy and value for money.

A boutique hotel with interesting Moroccan decor. The peek-a-boo bathroom with 'rain' shower is an enjoyable novelty and the terrace swimming pool that ends at the lip of the front of the hotel, with good views is also different. Service is bad and I had to finally do things myself, like clear the blocked bathroom drain! The blanket smells and had things that made us itch during the night! We got rid of it and only used sheets and that was okay. The hotel redeemed itself by allowing us to stay 4 hours longer for free for our evening flight. Other than the blanket, the room was very clean. The buffet breakfast was good with style of eggs on request. We especially enjoyed the free pool table and internet access.

This is a beautifully designed boutique hotel in a quiet but convenient location, defintely one of the nicest hotels i have stayed in. The pool on the roof is absolutely amazing, spent many a lazy day swimming and sunbaking. Dont listen to any of the bad reviews about this hotel, some people just need something to complain about! i recommend this hotel highly and would go back there if i return to Krabi.

Placed 5 minutes walk from the beach without a view from our room. OK breakfast buffe. Too expencive.

Nice boutique hotel tucked away from the bustle and hussle of the main shopping street but still within a 10mins walk to the seaside and shopping area. Very suitable for couples looking for a romantic retreat.

The room was nice and had a very big terrace on the second floor. Only five minutes walk to the beach. Very bad service. In the pool bar it took them 1 hour to figure out that they did not what was on the pizzas we had ordered.
