Our hotel is located in Via Nazionale 243, at the third floor, in one of the most beautifull and historical building in downtown. Since the XVII century, many important rich families lived in this quarter which was the centre of the social and economic life at that time. It was very similar as it looks by walking around these streets.

Getting there:From Termini Station : By foot the hotel is situated at 10 minutes walking from the Station. Underground: Get line A and get down at Repubblica. From there walk down along Via Nazionale. From Fiumicino Airport: Leonardo Express Train leave to termini every 30 minutes. The price is 8,00 euro. From Ciampino: take the bus Cotral to Anagnina Station. From here take the underground to Repubblica

Car parking:The Alius is in the historical centre of Rome. You have to pay 1 euro for each hour from 7.00 am to 23.00 pm (not on sundays and holidays). You can park your car in the garage ( the guardian will take your car direclty at the hotel and give it you back at your check out). The price is 18-25 euro for 24 hours a day
Child Policy:A child 0-6 years old: free if sharing parents' bed. A Child 6-12 years old: 30% discount of the adult rate to be paid on spot.
Close to Metro Repulica & not far from Termini station, steady walk to all main attractions, east of the River Tiber. Staff helpful & friendly. Only negative was the unslightly damp above the shower. Would recommend hotel for a 2 star.
Friendly Staff. The location is excellent but the hotel is a bit difficult to find as it is on 3rd floor. No telephone in the room.

Our quadruple rooms are very big, calm and comfortable, with a nice view on via Nazionale. Each room has a private bath with shower and hairdryer, a double bed and two single beds, a closet, a desk, a chiar, bedside tables, tv and air conditioning.
This hotel is not very easy to find and is located on the 3rd floor. Access to small elevator is available. Rooms very basic, breakfast very very basic, but hotel is in a great location. Very handy to everything, Metro stations and other sights. Staff quite pleasant.
As you can see from the score, service is fine, room was always clean and quite big too. One negative thing though: breakfast was terrible! Youghurt with artificial taste, plastic wrapped sugar sprinkled croisants so sweet that you needed to wash it down with the sour orange juice. Nothing to put on the bread except for jam. With all the sugar and sweetnes it was more like a dessert, rather than breakfast. But then again, lots of hotels near the center of Rome are a lot more expensive and you can always go and buy food elsewhere for breakfast :-)
A lovely hotel with good service and a fabulous location. People were helpful and the room was clean. A 10 minute walk to the Forum and Colusseum and a 5-10 minute walk to Termini. Breakfast is very average, however.
Good location near Termini station and bus lines. Basic hotel, pleasant staff, would stay there again for a short stay.

Clean hotel room better then expected at this price. Staff are very helpful but not all of them speak fluent English but enough to get by. Access to coffee 24 hour a day is a plus. Free Internet access is provided in the lobby but you need to bring an Ethernet cable (no wireless).
Good location, bus stop in front of the hotel, busy street (safe to come home in the evening though!). Very kind service. Sober, but clean room, we didn't expect more for the price we payed! We will come back!! Marieke and Karlijn van Noort
