"We stayed 6 nights. The room was only cleaned after 4 nights. One towel each. Calling it an apartment is a joke - there was no workbench space to prepare even a simple meal like breakfast or a sandwich and no comfortable sitting area to relax in. The bathroom was tiny. There was a lovely pool. It was closed for several days as the pump was broken. " - Anonymous

Alkira Apartments will shortly offer gym facilites as well as Conference/Meeting/Board Room facilities to suit up to 8 people becoming available Late January Early February 2009.

Darwin Airport is only 10 minutes away and a $20 taxi fare. Alternatively, take the Airport Shuttle Bus to Alkira's door for $11 per person.
The Taxi Rank and the Airport Shuttle pick-up point are located directly in front of the airport terminal.
From the Darwin Airport, travel along the Stuart Highway and turn right into Ross Smith Avenue, then into Gregory Street. Alkira is located on the corner of Gregory and Toy Streets, with the entry to Alkira from Toy Street.
Alkira is only 3 klms to Darwin CBD - a short taxi ride or the local bus service stops in Gregory Street. |
