Bangkok is such a wonderful city and All Seasons Hotel made it more wonderful. The free breakfast was really great because when your hungover you could just go down without worrying to pay for it and this will give you quite a relief. :) You could easily get cabs with the help of their staff. The downfall here is that the BTS Train station takes 10-15 min walk and because of the heat it seems to be soo long. When your in the BTS already it can bring you anywhere hehe.
Far away from the shopping mall, we walk from the hotel to the nearest shopping mall Indra Regent take about 15~20min everyday, no WiFi, but the hotel room is very clean and the complimentary breakfast is good.
Well worth the stay!
found hotel an excellent place to stay, a 10 minute walk to ther mrt station got us anywhere we wanted to go
clean, and a good price, but a little out the way, however i would recommend as a mid price hotel
This is my favourite boutique hotel to stay in Bangkok. Rates are almost as cheap as hostels, but you get a very decent and clean room with attached bathroom. Basic amenities, but very convenient.
The front desk was very helpful and attentive. They assisted me when I had an emergency in the middle of the night and needed to go to a hospital nearby. Although slightly worn, it was still very clean and very value for money.
Except for location i would rather stay in this hotel rather than other of its contemporary.
Many taxis do not want to drive us back to this hotel from Platinum Center and we have to walk about 20mins back to hotel. There is also no BTS which is not good.
hotel had a restaurant the food was very good the staff were friendly and helpfull
Extremely good service received from the staff, esp the security at the hotel lobby, making you feel welcome and safe to stay in. The staff could not find my booking when i checked in but they managed to resolve it, even upgraded my superior room booking to suite at no additional cost. Like their business model of pay only for the services you need. Definitely value for money. The only thing is the location. Tho located within Pratunam, it is quite off from the main shopping area and train station. Abt 20 mins walk to Platinum Shopping Area when traffic is heavy to take taxi
This hotel has recently been refurbished (as of Oct 2007) so it is nice and new. It is a great, affordable hotel that has solid basics (comfortable, quiet, clean, well-serviced, excellent location) and some above-average touches, especially the exceptional staff. I booked a "suite" room, which was well worth the low price. I was very impressed with all of the half-dozen or so staffers I interacted with during my brief stay. They were all highly competent, friendly, helpful and just a pleasure to interact with. As someone who has visited Bangkok many times I would say that this is not unusual, but the very high level of service was still a pleasant surprise. The hotel is conveniently located - there's a bus stop literally right out side the hotel entrance and it's under 10 minutes on a bus to Siam, Pratunam and Central World/Gaysorn Plaza, which are three of the main shopping hubs. Two thumbs up!
Good value, exactly what you would expect from Ibis. Service was excellen - they upgraded me twice free of charge.
The hotel staffs are friendly and the rooms are newly-furbished. The only advantage is it is about 10 mins walk to the nearest BTS Train Station, Victory Monument and a 10 mins walk to the nearest Shopping Centre at Pratunam.
Quite a good experience here. At first they tried to give us a superior room that only had one window that looked out directly to the breakfast tables 2 ft away. And it smelled ... unpleasant. But after a turn around, they moved us up to the fifth floor, and the room was great. Big, clean, with a nice big shower and comfy bed. Very worth the price. Location was fantastic in terms of proximity to the airport, and not bad for those in Bangkok for the shopping. But access to the old city by taxi was atrociously slow, so heads up. All in all, a good experience.
Top class for a budget conscious traveller!! Very good service.
It is a bit of a trek to get from the Ibis to the centre especially if you do not want to deal with the taxi drivers who will often take you to one of the export houses where they will get a fuel coupon but there is a convenient water taxi at Pratunam. Also it is almost impossible to find a tuk-tuk anywhere near here!
I have stayed there a number of times now and not always the experience has been great but I must say a number of the staff went out of their way to assist me so full credit to the service. Its a convenient location generally and its not hard to get around so I guess its as good as it gets for a four star hotel.
The wireless internet system did not work in the room where I checked in and it took the staff one day to sort that out. I must have been the only one using the internet in the room I got, since they started operations! Things worked out ok when I moved to another room. The restaurant food quality and service was not as good as in most other places in Bangkok and not really recommended. The area directly around the hotel does not have anything to offer and in the morning rush hour it takes a little while to get a taxi. However, the room rate is really good and the hotel offers value for money.
Its a great location and being new it was a pleasure to stay there
