Getting there:Arriving from the airport: Taxi pick up can be arranged Or take the shuttle bus to "Westbahnhof" – take the underground line U6 (direction "Floridsdorf") - just 1 stop to "Burggasse/Stadthalle" From there, you walk in the direction of "Zentrum" (city center) approx. 5 minutes and you are in the "Halbgasse"! Follow the yellow signs "ALLA LENZ" Arriving by train at: "Westbahnhof" (trains from Germany, Salzburg, Linz): Underground U6 - as mentioned above! "Südbahnhof" (trains from Italy or Prague): Tram No. 18 to the end of the line "Burggasse/Stadthalle". From there, you walk in the direction of "Zentrum" approx. 5 minutes and you are in the "Halbgasse". Follow the yellow signs "ALLA LENZ"

Pricing at 75Euro for a double was great for position & amenities (breakfast not included, but with Vienna's pastries and coffee available cheaply nearby, that's no problem). Position of hotel was great - if arriving by train, take the number 5 tram from oustide WestHauptbahnhof (the tram stop is just above the underground train exit); this tram make its way to & up Kaiserstrasse & you get off at Burgasse, where you'll see yellow sign to this hotel on the corner. It's an easy bus ride from that corner into city centre (or walk), and U station also not far from hotel.
Very clean and friendly staff. Don't expect anything spectacular - the location is good (close to transport) but the room is awfully small in a corporate building. Doesn't feel like a hotel.

Using public transport from here is very easy and convenient.
Alla Lenz is ran by a family with warmth hospitality and very helpful for any service you might required. It's quite a nice place.

Excellent. The family was fabulous to my daughter who was travelling alone. Highly recommended.
Among many positive points, I would like to mention a few: As we reached the hotel, we were provided with all the info that a tourist might need. The staff even arranged, for us, tickets to 'staatsopera' belle. The TV in the room had a cable connection and we could watch 37 channels (included in the price).
Very helpful advice and introduction to Vienna by the charming host. Great breakfasts.
