Allegra Hotel Zurich

This hotel is the most ideal place for a last night stay before departure from Zurich Airport. The complimentary continental breakfast buffet is very generous and the coffee is good! The hotel accepted our small dog without any additional charge and the staff was very welcoming. Unfortunately the hotel is well booked, so make reservations early, if possible. Was in the past several times unable to obtain a room, but the Allegra is defiinetely my 1st choice near Zurich Airport. Forgot one thing, parking is free!

Lovely, modern airport hotel with great rooms, comfortable beds, extremely clean, great bathroom. Includes a continental breakfast. And is just minutes away from a train stop that takes you into downtown Zurich.

Hotel was just the thing before a morning flight after 2.5 weeks traveling in Italy and France. The room was gigantic (though it might have had an unfair comparitive advantage as the room we had just come from was in Venice and smaller than a cruise ship cabin). Well oriented to the needs of someone who needs to get to the airport the next day. However, as we were dropping off to sleep at 22:30, we were interrupted by a man entering our locked and latched door with his backpack and suitcase. After soime hearty screaming by my sweetheart, he apologized and left. We called down to the desk and the fellow there was "stunned". He said that it should not have happened. On this, everyone agrees. A person came up with new keycards and a IC card with a wire and said our door could now only be opened by the new keycards. We never received an explanation for how it could have happened -- somehow, he had to have some level of master keycard. There were no offers to ameliorate the issue (change rooms, change hotels, etc.) We got almost no sleep inside our barracaded room and left early for the airport.

A nice surprise to find great location close to airport & train station. Excellent restaurant that we were not aware of until checking in, & a full bar with the bartender suggesting a great Swiss wine. Enjoyed our stay just one night before flying out of Zurich. Would reccomend for sure.

The" Breakfast" manager of the restaurant should not be working in the service industry. She was rude and unprofessional. I had dinner at the same restaurant the night before, and I can say without reserve that it was good and the staff was very professional.

Perfect hotel for us (stayed here the nights we flew in out of Zurich airport)! A ten (or less) minute ride on the free shuttle, clean and comfortable rooms, quiet location, 1 minute walk to train station into Zurich, and continental breakfast was included. Internet was 5 cfs per 24 hours. We would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay at the Allegra. The two of us had a room with 4 single beds, so we had plenty of room. The menu at the restaurant offered several ethnic Asian dishes. We tried a couple and they were very good. The shuttle driver was very helpful. The hotel staff was pleasant to deal with. Free Wi-Fi was greatly appreciated. All in all an excellent value for the money.

This hotel was excellent in every which way. Zurich was our last stopover before we headed back home and the airport shuttle was convenient. The included buffet breakfast was simple with croissants and toast, however there was a full buffet with eggs and bacon for additional 9 CHF. There was free networked internet but had to pay extra for Wifi. It is right next to the Kloten railway station and 4 stops away from the Zurich HB which was very convenient for us. The reception staff went out of their way to help us as we were travelling with children and gave us rooms accordingly. Would definitely stay back at this hotel on our next visit.

We stayed there from July 7-14, 2011. We checked-in early and we waited for about 30 minutes for our room to be ready but they didn't charge us for early check-in. Room was spacious, sheets were soft and the toilet and bath was spotless. I loved the location because the train station's just a stone throw away, there's a Spar mini-grocery around the corner and it's just 15 minutes by train to Zurich HB (downtown). Their Continental breakfast is very simple bread, jams, coffee, tea, hot chocolate and muesli..if you add 9 francs per person a lot of other choices like fruits, yogurt, eggs, sausage/bacon, cheeses, etc. will be available. You can also book excursion trips at the concierge. They also provide free shuttle from the airport to the hotel and vice versa. All in all, we love our stay in Hotel Allegra and we'll definitely be staying there again when we go back to Zurich.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Shortage of power points only negative. Free internet was another plus.

Very nice modern hotel near the airport with a Frequent airport shuttle service. Also just a stone's throw from the train station where there are twice hourly services into central Zurich that take just 15 minutes.

modern Swiss hotel near the airport and 1 minute walk to the train station. very convenient when flying out early the next morning and only a 25 minute train ride into the center of town. There is free parking at the hotel. Rooms are very comfortable, clean but not luxurious. I would stay here again especially if I neede to be near the airport.

chose this airport hotel one for 3 reasons- hotel club offered a lower price, its location just 3-4 min walk to the Kloten station and 3rd, it’s just 10-15 min by bus to the airport( spent our last 3 nites of swiss tour), also a complementary shuttle was provided by hotel. Modern hotel with friendly and helpful reception Zurich HB is connected by train every ½ hr and its 15 min away. Room and bathroom clean, spacious and well maintained. With no air cond please avoid during the heat of summer months, otherwise a recommended hotel. Continental breakfast was OK and we did not opt for an upgrade to a buffet for an extra 9 chf. The waiter on the 2nd and 3rd morning was grumpy with an unwilkommen attitude. would be perfect if free wifi provided.

Excellent hotel if you are flying out of Zurich with complimentary transfers to the airport. Modern, spacious rooms and friendly service, only marred by a fairly ordinary continental breakfast. Only 15 minutes by train (station within 100 meters) to Zurich city so suitable for longer stays. We would stay again and we certainly recommend the Allegra to transit visitors.

This hotel was in perfect position to railway station & also had an wonderful airport shuttle both to & from airport. The staff, rooms & overall of this hotel was A1. It was a pleasure to stay there & I would recommend the Allegra Hotel to everyone who wants to stay in Zurich. I rate this hotel with a 5 star.

Very good atmosphere, nearby kloten station which can easily acess to anywhere by train. bedding is very comfortable. simply can say everything good

We have stayed at this hotel before and this time they allow us to have a very limited breakfast compare to other time actually breakfast were not the main issue but the feeling seem to be a matter on this trip. Yongyudh Teeravithayapinyo
