The Hotel Alma di Alghero is a modern and functional building, a perfect combination between a central and seaside hotel. Situated on the seafront and just across the street from the famous beach Lido, it’s within a walking distance to the historical centre of Alghero. Good location only a few steps from the beach, but not too close to the road. Our superior room was spotlessly clean. Two minutes walk to a good pizza restaurant called Ramblas. 10-15 minutes walk to the old town, but better to be close to a good stretch of beach than by the marina I think. 20 euros taxi to the airport or hourly municipal bus service is very cheap (3 minutes walk to bus stop). Very friendly staff and excellent buffet breakfast.
A clean hotel with good sized rooms and really pleasant and helpful staff. It is about 15 minutes from the Old Town, and we enjoyed the walk. Continental breakfast worked well for us, though 'proper' coffee would have been welcome! Sardinia is lovely, with a bus trip to Bosa very revealing in terms of the beauty of the coast line and mountains.
Fantastic!!! I had the opportunity to stay at [other hotel] ( 4 star ) and Alma Hotel (3 star ) and I'd rather come back to Alma Hotel by far!!!!!!!! Cheaper and better, muuuuuch better!!! Great staff, great food, great everything!!! Really pleased with them!
Nice reasonable basic hotel - close to town and close to the beach - just off the main road so nice and quiet. People at the hotel were very friendly andf helpful. Would stay again.

The Alma was a good standard for a 3 star hotel in Alghero. The room was of ample proportions and although neither the hairdryer nor the scales worked, it was good that these were provided. I enjoyed the variety offered at breakfast. The standard of the food and coffee was not as high as at another 3 star we stayed at but it was perfectly reasonable nonetheless. The staff were accomodating and friendly overall.
Very nice hotel (built 2005). Good location in front of the baech, 800 m to the old town. Very friendly staff. Excellent breakfast buffet. Only disapointment was the terrace that is not yet ready to be used for guests.
slightly far out of town but by a greast sandy beach. Big rooms, good breakfast. Would Return - Alghero is lovely but not the place for a lively holiday.
Really enjoyed the stay there, staff were very friendly and helpful, the place was clean and despite having read reports that the breakfast was unsatisfactory this must have been addressed by the time we got there because we certainly found nothing with it. I would certainly recommend staying there.
The staff was wonderful and helpful! Our room was very clean and spacious. Very close to the beach. I'd certainly choose this hotel again.
