I thought I got what I paid for. Couldn't find the control for the electric blanket talked about in the motel 'blurb' and you are not advised to keep the rather noisy electric 'pretend fire' going all night although you might wish to on a cold winters night. Staff did their best.
Stayed at the hotel whilst atedning a conference. Very old hotel. Clean none the less. Included continental breakfast which was handy. On the edge of the main New Market shopping area, however a fair distance from Auckland City.
I wanted a reasonably priced hotel to stay at a couple of nights. The hotel matched my expectations. I would stay here again.
Hotel is old and needs a revamp especially bathroom. bed could be better too. Other than that room was fine
Excellent & convenient venue with very friendly & helpful staff.
The property is tired but the location more than compensates for this - the staff were pleasant and efficient. I would stay there again.
Not a bad place to stay with office hours internet usage and two high speed computers near the reception area - absolutely free!
Great value for money and very clean.
Good basic accommodation and comfy bed. Room had big burn mark from an iron on carpet (Iron now located down the hall) but basically clean and tidy, with balcony which was nice.
Room attendants very friendly.
Our request for a king bed was initially ignored until we insisted on this. Central location in Auckland city is a big advantage.

We were well supported when we forgot to take our confirmation chit! Support was offered pleasantly and without fuss. This is a much older motel - and noise between units was very definite. Facilities quite tired - but breakfast at restaurant was well priced, adequate and readily accessible. For the cost I would stay here again as it is very reasonable priced and handily located.
