Alpha Hotel Ostende

Great location. The room that I checked into was limited in space i.e. no desk, no chair and, literally I had to walk sideways around the double bed in order to get to and from the bathroom. I did notice though that several of the rooms were bigger, with said chair and desk. Great staff, fantastic location. If you simply want a bed, this is it - great value for money. If you want simple things like coffee maker, ironing board then forget Side note, you have to pay extra for breakfast (at the hotel, not included in the deal on this site - the rate was 12 Euros per day. 2011)

Decent hotel but nothing special. Good value for money though if you are on a tight budget.

Hotel staff appeared very friendly and appreciative of guests. Unfortunately clean bed sheets and bathroom towels were not provided one of the days we were booked in, but otherwise service was top notch. Other than a spot of dust on the window curtains, the room was kept very clean and tidy with no sign of damage. The room itself contained a good working television as well as shower and toilet facilities. Beds could also be seperated to create both single and double sizes, and hotel staff provided additional covers when asked. A rapid and reliable lift exists as well as stair access to all rooms. For a 3 star hotel we couldn't have asked for better.

Very good price, and definitely a decent hotel.

This hotel is small but cosy. It looks like being a family run hotel so the service is quite friendly even though at certain hours it is difficult to get an answer at reception (perhaps because it was off season). The hotel is in a good and central location. Facilities are acceptable. I would recommend it to any traveler. Good value for money.

We just wanted to visit Belgium for a couple of days for not too much money and at a good location. We got exactly what we wanted. The location and the price were great. The hotel smelled a little strange but the batroom and the shower were fairly clean. Breakfast was excellent and the personell was very nice. We would tell friends to go there!
