"The Alpine Glacier is a small hotel which is well run, with helpful and knowledgeable reception desk. The small chalets are well fitted out and nicely kept and clean, with a small parking space outside each one. The location is ideal - just a short walk into town, and a short drive to the glacier. "Very pleasant and helpful manager. Went the extra mile to make the stay an enjoyable one providing info on the attractions in the area and also good places to eat. The little details (such as fresh fuscias on the pillows and in the bathroom) made this motel seem more like a hotel or boutique style accommodation. We would recommend this motel to others and would happily return ourselves. Only downside was that there was not space available for the second night we required in the area as they were fully booked." - Beryl Fabian
