Getting there:Because there are 2 Altas in Cebu it is better if you let us arrange airport pick up (the other one is a golf course) . Alta Cebu Resort offers hassle-free airport pick-up for about the same price as taking a taxi (need to contact resort so we can pick you up). One-way pick up from airport to Alta Cebu up is chargeable at USD10. If you take taxi, please remember to bring a map or tell taxi driver that we are in Cordova.

the location's far from the city but for me its okay since its really a quiet place were in you can relax and enjoy the place...The service was very good the staff are accommodating and the cleanliness of the place's very good.
The resort exceeded our expectations. The attaractions and facilities are unique. Truly the resort was developed by an owner who is creative and passionate about the value provided and the overall vacation experience experience.
Very pleasant staff. good swimming pool. However noise from nextdoor neighbours was disturbing because of the very thin wooden walls.
We enjoyed our stay there very much but found the food rather poor quality . This was not due to the chef but mainly the ingredients available. We will stay there again
Alta was formerly solely the American lLanguage Teaching Authority but appears now to be geared more to the resort side of its operations. The standard rooms are on the pokey side and the king sized bed has two mattresses that divide half way down the bed. Beds were, as a result, not overly comfortable. Staff were friendly although one waitress did not know how to uncork a bottle of wine nor to stand on the right side of a person who was dining to pour drinks. Pool excellent. No nearby beach although elevated concrete walkway to rotunda offers interesting views of local residents who sadly are far poorer than those staying at Alta.
I came here with my (soon to be) bride. I never stayed at a place where everyone is so authentically friendly! This place feels like one big happy family. You folks strike a GRAND balance between professionalism and personalized “family” touch. we always felt, with every member of the ALTA staff, a genuine concern for our happiness throughout our stay. They have two wonderful cooks, Pepito and Chris. The variety of dishes from different countries was as varied as it was delicious. The garden was stunningly beautiful, especially around the large pool and Jacuzzi. Sitting in the Jungle bar next to the pool, sipping wine and enjoying a lazy afternoon, who could ask for more? All in all, it was a truly fabulous experience! The best vacation of my life! We only wish we could have known how nice it was ahead of time so I could have booked my whole vacation here.
