Getting there:From Tullamarine Airport TAXI - approximately A$50 LIMOUSINE - We can arrange to have your personal chauffer meet you at the luggage carousel and whisk you directly to Alto Hotel SKYBUS - brings you to and from the airport at regular intervals, 24 hours a day. Available from 8am to 4pm from city terminal to Alto Hotel. From Avalon Airport Avalon Airport is Melbourne's secondary airport. Options include shuttle bus, taxi & limousine. Avalon Airport is approx 65 kilometres from Melbourne's CBD. Train - Metro, Regional & Interstate All local, metropolitan, regional & interstate trains stop at Southern Cross station. Make your way to the Bourke Street exit from the platform / station and Alto is just 100 meters straight along Bourke Street.
Check-in Procedure:Check in directly at our 24-hour reception. Check in time is from 2pm. Should you require early check in, please contact the hotel, otherwise we can store your luggage free of charge.Credit Card BELONGING TO THE RESERVATION HOLDER MUST be present.
Car parking:Limited secure car parking is available at $16 per night & must be reserved at the time of booking.

Excellent little hotel which is very convenient to Spurhern Cross Station, the Docklands area and Melbourne CBD. Great service and clean rooms. Will stay again.
I've stayed here a number of times. Great value and excellent location. Especially good if you take the red bus from the airport to the Southern Cross interchange, as the Hotel is only a 5 minute walk away.

A very nice, clean, well run boutique style hotel in Melbourne. It has a touch of quality and is very convenient and handy to the city. Would thoroughly recommend.

Excellent option near Spencer St station, nice boutique hotel, great restaurant area with open fireplace and free coffees and hot chocolate in winter... enjoyed our stay.

We were delighted with our accommodation and would definitely stay again as the location was perfect. Our evening meal in the restuarant was superb and well priced....loved the massage chairs too!! Room rates were rather pricey but being Melbourne Tennis time I guess that was to be expected as was explained to me, but to their credit a complimentary breakfast for 2 was offered the morning of our departure...a nice touch to a pleasant stay.

The hotel was very clean with almost new facilities. I booked a spa room (for a little luxury) and was disappointed when the spa would not work. Check in and check out were a bit of an ordeal with reception not knowing what they were doing.
Previous room guest had smoked in this NON-SMOKING hotel - on raising, the Hotel promptly attended to this matter to our satisfaction.
