Great location in the old part of town & near the river - beautiful city. Comfortable room & quiet.Helpfull staff. Get the Saltzburg card for cheap sight seeing.
The room could do with some new furniture and a lighter colour carpet. otherwise quite a comfortable stay. our room was facing the street and next to the church. the church starts ringing about 6am but we plan to be up early so it didn't really bother us. staffs were friendly and the location is very good just a short walk to everything.
It is a friendly, well-run hotel with ideal location. We were particularly satisfied with the breakfast and the comfortable beds.

nice hotel for a stay in downtown salzburg- excellent location! breakfast room is a bit too small. a bad experience was that there was no ventilator or window at the toilet in the room.
Breakfast was not very good. Hotel was in process of redecorating (painting), which was a bit of an inconvenience but understandable given we arrived at the end of the low season.
The location was excellent - really central and easy to find. Staff very plesant and helpful.

Hotel in an old style. Located on pedesterian area. Parking in public parking house 5 min walking distance. I enjoyed my stay.

Excellent hotel. Over 500 years old and very authentic. The staff were very friendly and willing to help. Good central location and hearty breakfast in very pleasant surroundings. Traditional Individual rooms and not your usual typical 4 star clones! Loved it and will go back. Must say tho, had a problem trying to contact Rates to go from abroad to change the date. Never did manage even tho I called the Uk office and the message stated opening hours were 9-5 but I called midday.
