Hotel The hotel Kasererbraeu is a four star hotel full of tradition in the old city of Salzburg. The rooms are partly furnished in a traditional way, partly in a modern zeitgeist style and offer individual equipment. Antiques and design elements mark the atmosphere of the room. The Mediterranean ambiance in the surroundings of the hotel reflect pure joy of life: the Italian bar Balthazar, the Trattoria Domani and the Café Sezession invite you to stay and spend a pleasant evening. A direct access to the hotel is possible, please book your parking before your arrival (Euro 12,-/day).

Getting there:Take Highway-Exit "Salzburg Süd (South)", direction Anif - then go along Alpenstraße and come to Hellbrunnerstraße, always straight ahead until the roundabout traffic and enter the street "Kaigasse". (Don´t cross the bridge!) In front of the Kaigasse you will find a moving bollards. On entering the street you can find a interphone on the left side. Press the button Kasererbräu. You will be connected to the reception of our hotel, who will give you an access code. After entering the code the bollard is going down and you can enter the street If you are using a navigation system, please enter "Kajetanerplatz" (not Kaigasse) as your destination. There you will find the moving bollards to enter to the old town!

Very nice hotel and friendly staff. B/F and B/F room were very nice.
Location was excellent! Hannah's level and style of service at reception was excellent! We elected to book a superior/deluxe double. However, we didn't need the extra bed and could have saved money.

Rooms are okay, refreshed more than renovated. Breakfast was good. Not easy to reach this hotel with your car but parking available there, which is a plus! Price paid was in the high side for the value, guess that is because of prime location ...
The hotel and the rooms are small. The beds are too hard to sleep in. The breakfast was very poor. Although it has a central location it is not pricwhorty. It´s more like a 2 star hotel.
We had a wonderful short stay in Salzburg. The hotel was clean, comfortable and very pretty. The reception and lower floors were decorated for the season and each guest was given a small bag of nuts and sweets. The location was excellent, walking distance to the old part of town. I am looking forward to going back and will use this hotel again.
Well located for the town. Reception was open 24hrs a day and very helpful. Good hotel and would visit them again if staying in Salzburg.
The hotel is located in a prime location, literally 5-10 minutes walk from all main attraction on its side of the river. It does take about 20 minutes to walk to Schloss Mirabell on the other side of the river. The staff is friendly and efficient. The breakfast has one of the best selections we had on this trip. The rooms are large and comfortable. The restaurant on premises is okay, but there are many good restaurants within easy walking distance. (Just like mostly everything in historic part Salzburg is within walking distance.) The hotel is by no means cheap, but it is worth every cent for location, convenience, and service.
A great choice if you are looking for a central hotel with a 3* comfort rating - the service was superb and overall I would definitely stay there again.
The location of the hotel is superb for looking around Salzburg - right in the middle of the old town and only a few steps from the castle. Hotel staff were extremely friendly / helpful and the breakfast was really good by 'European standards'. The only negative was that our room was slightly small and that the hotel didnt claim to have any double duvets.... All very minor points as we were only using the hotel as a base. Would definately stay there again in the future.

Exellent location, in old city, just walk out the door and close to all the sights, breakfast was lovely, buffet. had sauna, but didn't use it. would recommend it to anyone. room was quite big and quaint, clean with minibar and tv (cnn in english)
We both thoroughly enjoyed our stay and everyone was very friendly and welcoming. The breakfast buffet was lovely and the location of the hotel was perfect. We would definitley stay there again.
A very nice hotel, but no bar. Make sure you dont get a room near the lift, as very noisy.
The picture of the room that encouraged us to book the hotel on, did not materialise. In fact the first room we were given was a poky hole with no view! We requested a change of room and were told told that they were full. However, after a little searching another was found. Still not of the standard we thought we had booked, but ok. It had a view over the rooftops. Breakfast was good and taken in a very pleasant room with friendly staff.
