In a sheltered valley, far from noise and stress of cities but yet conveniently situated, you will find the only Moorheilbad of the western Harz mountains. Allow yourself a little rest and relaxation, wander through little alleys, admire the typical architecture of the Harz mountains with its old halftimbered houses, enjoy the exqui- site food and drinks restaurants and cafs offer and recover completly.
Clear and clean lakes invite in summer to going swimming, also partly to fishing and in winter to ice-skating. Furthermore, you can come and see some of our sights e.g. our Arboretum lovingly called exotic forest by the people living in Bad Grund, or maybe you would like to visit our clock museum which is one of the biggest in Europe. Possibly, the world of mining attracts you or you would like to show your children or grandchildren our fairatale valley. No matter what, in and around Bad Grund, there is a lot to see and to experience and you are always located in nature in one of the most beautiful places in the Harz mountains.
The family-run hotel is located in the middle of the little town Bad Grund, near the health resort and the city centre.

| Getting there: |
From North and South take the motorway A7 Hannover-Kassel. Use the exit Seesen to the B243 to Osterode. Take the exit Clausthal/Zellerfeld-Bad Grund. After a few kilometers right and straight ahead and you can see our hotel in front of you.
From east Hasselfelde, Baunlage than Clausthal/Zellerfeld, to the B242 till exit Bad Grund.
From West use the A4 Dortmund-Kassel. Exit to the A7, Kassel-Hannover till exit Seesen. Right to the B243 to Osterode. Use the exit Clausthal/Zellerfeld-Bad Grund. After a few kilometers right to Bad Grund and after a few hundret meters you can see our hotel in front of you. |
