Amari Coral Beach Phuket

Outstanding hotel from teh moment we arrived I was impressed. Service, facilities, room etc I could find no fault. The staff really went out of their way to make us feel welcome and to attend to our every need

Lovely layout and views from various levels,sitting and walking around.Lower pool and restaurant very scenic onto the Bay.

The hotel is in a good location, away from the noise and lots of space. But there is no beach, you have to walk to patong beach. There were dirty dishes outside my room when I checked in were still present when I checked out the next day, so I would not rate the cleanliness good. Staff was friendly enough.

Great hotel away from chaos of centre of town good food ,restaurants .family loved it .

its good value for the money, if you get the last minute deals.... good location and great views, fin

We always felt very welcome at this Hotel. All staff were very friendly and always willing to go that extra step. The restaurants all had very good food and great service. We would definetely stay there again.

Loved this hotel. It's in a great location, set in a quiet location on a beach but within easy walking distance of Patong. We were up-graded to deluxe rooms (2 inter-connecting)and I would definately recommend these rooms. Can hire snorkelling equipment cheaply from hotel and snorkel off their pier-Yes even in July. Wonderful breakfast and attentive staff.

Our stay was wonderful, the only negative is, if one is unfit or want to choose to eat out or visit the main beach, this is not the Resort for you. There are lots of steps at the resort especially down to breakfast each morning (great buffet breaky). It was also a good 15 minute walk down a steep hill to the main Patong Beach and restaurant area or a Tuk Tuk ride at 150 Baht down and 200 baht back. Will look for something a bit closer to the beach and other restaurants next time. The pools are lovely and the staff very attentive. Rooms are spacious with balcony and view over Patong Bay, bathroom small. Food and drinks are expensive, as is expected at a Resort of this quality. Hotel could look at a Shuttle into Patong not just Kata Beach.

This Hotel is beautiful and really helped us enjoy our stay. It is located on beautiful grounds a short walk from Patong Beach, which was great to be staying a quiet place after a busy day. The staff were sensational! Always willing to go out of the way for us! Lots of stairs in the place, so I wouldnt recommend it for anyone who has difficulty walking. Spectacluar 180 water views. If we ever go back to Patong, we will be staying at Amari!

I stayed at Amari in Oct 2007.While it is a 4* hotel it seemed more like 5* from my experience.I stayed afterwards at the 5* Marriot in Bangkok which was comparatively poor.At Amari I was upgraded to a Deluxe room which made it even better.The receptionist led me to the room explaining everything about the hotel very clearly. The sea view was spectacular and the room was excellent - big, clean and nicely decorated.The breakfast buffet was great too, as were the swimming pools.The hotel is located within 10 minute walk from Patong, so very convenient.In fact the whole experience was very good apart from one thing.The hotel is keen to push their own packages onto guests and whenever I asked for information on taxi to airport, ferry trip to Phi Phi etc they would pretend they don't know what the cost is or where to go and would push their own overpriced deal on me.In that way they were very unhelpful.Eg their taxi to airport costs 800bht whereas a normal one costs about 400bht.Be warned.

Great hotel in a great location. On the south side of Patong Beach. Close enough to walk to town yet far enough to be out of the Patong chaos. Not a huge hotel but large enough to have 3 restaurants, one of which is an excellent Italian rest. La Gritta is right on the water overlooking the Patong Bay. The night view and food were fantastic. Breakfast was excellent as well with a large selection of hot & cold foods including Asian breakfast items and ready made omelets. Rooms were well furnished with a reasonably appointed bathroom. Four star. Two very nice pools on the property. Balcony overlooked the bay with all rooms in our building having a view. Would definitely stay there again.

A beautiful hotel in a magical setting and a quiet location, though close to the shopping and restaurants of Patong Beach. Very good hotel restaurants, great service.
