"The only reason why I stayed here is 'cos Hotel Club had a special deal. I usually stay at the Davis, which is in a similar location. But it has gone up in price over the past few years! St James is a cosy hotel that has a small swimming pool and the standard facilities but it is quiet at night as there is no entertainment in the lobby bar, etc. We found a cockroach in the bathroom one day but apart from that the room was clean! I paid US$60 for the deluxe room, which is usually US$100, and it was ok for that price but not more! " - Anonymous
"The room was very clean and comfortable. Unfortuntely we were given a room without a view. The airconditioning was a blessing!
The staff were very friendly and helpful but didn't always understand our requirements." - GRAHAM SHAW
"A nice hotel but not easy to find. Swimming pool is not big but clean enough." - marina ho
"The staff where very nice and the hotel was very clean. Easy access to the sky train, only 5 mins walk. The swimming pool does not get any sun, which can be a good thing in Bangkok's hot sticky weather. I got a late check out 10pm as my flight was at 1am, however i was charged a extra night, i suppose i can't complain as it would have been hard to let the room to someone else.
Altogether i was very pleased with the stay." - Matthew Armstrong
