The rooms are spacious and the house keeping are superb. Great hotel to stay, highly recommended.

Staff extremely polite and helpful. Very well organised hotel. Very clean, good internet price, restaurant on lower level not to be recommended the snack bar at entrance level ok. Easy walk to shopping centres. For more distant shopping we took an auto rickshaw for pre arranged price of 20 baht return.

Have to wait almost 2 hours during check-in before my room is ready. Location wise, it's good especially for shoppers who like wholesale market. Staff are friendly & hotel cleanness is good too.

First of all, upon arriving the hotel, for some reason, my booking cannot be found, it took quite a while to start working on my check in. It was 6:00pm (with my 2 hours flight delay), still no room is availble, I have to wait for another half an hour to get my room. This is quite disappointing. Nice thing is the staffs are very nice with beautiful smiles that compensate the slow, unefficient work. Hotel is located in a very busy but not the nicest area, a lot of small local style shops around, convenient for shopping & local transportations.

its a good hotel but thier reception area is too hot .. thier lifts are oo hot .. No AC i guess is opened in these locations ..

A good central hotel for shopping and restaurants. 5-10 minutes walk from skytrain. Staff friendly, polite and helpful.

The main attractions at the moment are: for a four star hotel, AUD 100 approx a day is an enormous saving and the location, in the heart of Pratunam and opposite the booming Platinum and Prautanam Centres. The restaurants are elegant and though not cheap serve wonderful food. The spa, again is expensive but with the special packages offered at the moment, more affordable and well worth it being clean and beautifully decorated and offering delightful tratments. The pool is charmingly landscaped and the steam and sauna facilities are top of the range. The service was efficient and friendly and my stay was totally enjoyable.

I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wishes to stay close to the heart of the city and therefore close to the primary shopping area's.

Excellent hotel in the middle of Pratunam shopping district, just across the street from Platinum Shopping Mall and a short walk from Central World Plaza. BTS is not within walking distance. Taxis may have difficulties reaching the hotel, due to the traffic situation. Breakfast and in room internet is a tad expensive, but free wifi is available in the lobby area. Nice swimming pool with refreshingly cold water. Excellent service throughout our stay. As a base for shopping in Pratunam, we would love to stay at Amari Watergate again.

We had two bookings, from 27/11 to 30/11 and 2/12 to 3/12 respectively. On our return on 2/12, I wanted to give my wife a surprise for her birthday, and made arrangements for a birthday cake and room service before we left on 30 /11. The hotel arranged it seamlessly and even had their staff sing a birthday song for my wife. Nicely done and good job!

We have been staying at many different hotels in Bangkok, and this hotel is one of the best hotels we have been on in all the ways.

Conveniently located near shopping area but hotel should be rated 4* and definitely not 5*. For the price we paid, it was very expensive & didn't even include breakfast. Not worth the price paid. It's better to stay 10 minutes away at a real 5* hotel and 40% cheaper. Reception and check in service was fast and very good. Friendly staff.

It is a good ***** hotel situated close to the shopping areas. Visitors going with the intention to go for shopping may go there. I enjoyed my stay there. Breakfast was not included in the rates offered by this website I almost slipped twice in the bathroom as the slippers provided were not of proper material for bathroom as wet floor made them extremely slippery. This small but actually very important issue can be taken with the management.

I have been to afew hotels in BKK and Amari Watergate is by far with the best bed that my husband and I have slept in. The service is also excellent. We would definitely be back for more.

The hotel may be very near the city centre but the traffic is very bad and the only road to the hotel is constantly jam. Thus Taxi fare can be high. (especially if you have a lot to carry after your shopping) You can take a 10 min walk to the main shopping belt but the path (along the road, especially that part across the bridge) is extremely polluted by the dark exhausted gases from the vehicles. Very unbearable and you have to hold your breath for 1 to 2 mins or try to walk very fast on this ever crowded walkway.
