There are currently 4 airlines offering direct connection from Bangkok, i.e. Thai Airways International, Thai Air Asia, Nok Air and One Two Go Airline. There are frequent buses leaving Bangkok to Chiang Rai, from VIP to air-conditioned buses leaving from Mor-Chit Bus Terminal.
