"Budget hotel. The room was simple, but clean. Hip bath with hand held shower. We had a room overlooking the back yard. The noise level there was less than in the rooms facing the street. You will however be disturbed by people returning late at night as there is a lot of noise from the corridors. The location is about 20 minutes walk from the Plaka in a somewhat rundown area. Next door is a café where prostitutes hang out. If you don't mind all of this then the hotel is OK, but I would prefer to pay a little more for a hotel in a better area." - Glyn Wright

Hotel AMARYLLIS is a 2 stars hotel and our first hotel of the Amaryllis group of hotels. Conveniently located on a quiet road at the commercial center of Athens with easy access to many places of great interest, constitutes an ideal base for exploring the city.
The hotel disposes 57 rooms all with private bath and balcony, automatic direct dial telephone system and air conditioning.
More than that there is a breakfast room, a meeting room, a free left luggage, a very modern reception opened 24 h, in the same level with a comfortable lounge and luxurious bar with music, TV and 24 hours service. The facilities also include: baggage hold, car rental desk, local calls, daily maid service, limited room service and wake up calls.

In a small distance from the hotel are Omonia Sq. (1 km) (underground station), the Athens Archaeological Museum (2 km), the National Theater, the Main Railway Station and Syntagma Sq. located at 20 min distance from the hotel and the Parliament House (2.5). Very next to the hotel is a close public paying garage.

We kindly inform you that from the new AIRPORT (36km) you can take a taxi (the cost is around 20/30Euro, 30min) direct to our hotel or you can take the subway and you get off at Omonia station. By train, the distance is about 50 min and the costs, 6 Euro.
Our hotel is located next to Omonia square, from this place you take 3rd September street, second on left is Veranzerou street, we are at nr. 45.
