Ambassadors Hotel London Guest Reviews

3 out of 5

The hotel was in an ideal location for our stay, the room small but adequate, but vertually impossible to turn the heat down, resulting in having the windows open all night-noisy! The bed was very comfortable & the room clean, bathroom tiny but again-for a short stay adequate. Although there is reference to a bar and a dining room-we never saw either and the only meal available was a boxed breakfast, which we didn't fancy. Overall-average tourist hotel.

Very nice and clean hotel. Quite a small room with lack of space to put your things. But newly renovated and quite a nice style. Cleaning of room was perfect, with clean towells every day. Nice staff. No hessitation to recommondate this hotel, and will go back to stay there anytime.

The room was very clean and the staff was nice. But there was always a wait to talk to one of them. They are remodling inside the lobby so it was load in the room. The location wasn't to far from the undergrounds, but it would have been nicer to be just a block or to from an enterance.

For the price and expecting much less, I was very impressed. Turns out no singles have a bath, which I prefer above all given my poor balance, but reception offered me a double with a bath for no extra price though I offered to pay the difference. There were many anecdotes, but nothing serious against the hotel. The room I received in the end was very clean, good sized by London standards for the price, firm bed (a joy), bathroom well appointed with a deep bath, soft towels, and the expected amenities, sometimes lacking in hotels of the same level in that area. I will return.

Room was in basement with no central heating although 2 portable electrical heaters were provided. Large bathroom, some complimentary toiletries not replaced. Mould in bathroom. Had to request hairdryer although listed on web page for each room. Humming sound from boiler noticeable. TV had no buttons with which to change channels. Staff extremely friendly and helpful. Location close to underground, shops, pubs and restaurants.

Despite the size of the rooms, a little bijou, everything needed was there and I thought the pricing was good for the location. Wouldn't hesitate to use it again.

My husband and I were very pleased with everything about this hotel. We thought the continental breakfast excellent, and everything was walkable. We would definitely stay there again.

The hotel was very clean, the staff were helpful, courteous and well presented. The food was very good as was the location. There was ample staff at breakfast who were efficient at clearing the tables etc. In my opinion it was excellent value for money - I would recommend it.

The room was extremely hot almost to the point of being too uncomfortable. The bathroom was so hot it was like being in a sauna! Otherwise a great hotel excellently located for Earls Court, within walking distance of it.
