Ampere Hotel Paris

Good hotel near to a metro line and also near to some good restaurants and bars. Served our purpose for sleeping and bathing but no tea/coffee making facities in the room and the mini bar was criminaly expensive

The price through [your website] was very good. Otherwise, it is quite expensive. The staff booked transport to the airport for us; they were very pleasant and spoke good English. The hotel restaurant was closed because it was August although an excellent buffet breakfast was served. The only bad thing experienced was with the hairdryer! The part that was held was where the hot air flowed, and it got very hot--so much that it couldn't be held.

We have stayed there before. The location is off the usual travel paths in that it is in an urban residential location about 25 minutes from the Louve;left bank;D,Orsay. It is about a 10 minute walk to the Park Moncleau and 20 minutes to the Etoile. It is next to both a metro and RER (a commuter train that gets you directly to the D.Orsay). The rooms;restaurants nearby;and service are terrific. Breakfasts are great. I would always try to stay there.

Really like this hotel. My first choice for business travel in Paris. Not pricey. Staff is very helpful as always. Good breakfast buffet and there are nice restaurants within 5 minutes' walk.

We stayed in Ampere Hotel 30 Apr - 3 May 2008 and enjoyed every minute of it. Very nice, quiet location, not very central but the Metro around the corner takes you everywhere. Good selection of Restaurants in the area. The hotel was very full and some congestion and shortage of items was observed at breakfast rush time. Breakfast itself was very good. Will stay in this hotel again when visiting Paris

Clean 4 * hotel run by friendly staff close to pereira metro station. Ideal for journeys all over Paris. Big buffet breakfast kept me going until evening meal. I would stay again.

We have arrived at 13:30 and the rooms were not ready (they expected the roms to be ready within 1 hour). We left for a walk and when we came back at 18:30 our own suitcases were still at the reception and we had to carry them to our rooms. The breakfast area is rather small and so when the hotel is busy the guest are asked to sit at the bar, but the buffet is located in the dinning room and so they have to go back-and-forth to pick up their breakfast. Personel was polite and the room are reasonably nice (for Paris!). The access to the (fee-paying) underground parking is EXTREMELLY narrow and so scratches/dents can be expected, no matter how careful you are.

nice, pleasant and easy-going,yet very "parisien". Make sure you are in time for breakfast, because they start cleaning up quite quickly after closing time.

In a quiet area of Paris but with good restaurants literally on the corner and very close to the metro and RER trains to get anywhere in Paris. Lovely to come back to after long days sight-seeing. Good breakfasts and cosy and warm. Highly recommended.

Staff were very friendly and helpful, room clean and comfy (although a bit small) even when travelling with a 1 yr old! Would stay here again. Although smoking in the lobby, bar etc very stinky and annoying not to mention a health hazard but that's Europe!

Second time that we've stayed here. Good class hotel in a quiet area. Two minute walk from the Metro and a good selection of restaurants.

Great hotel - good sized room and lovely indoor/outdoor breakfast room. Well located close to 2 Metro stations, with good bars and restaurants close by. Would definitely stay here again.

Excellent little 4-star for the money. Very helpful reception staff. Located in a quiet area at night, though only a 20-min walk to the Arc de Triomphe, and right next to a Metro stop and an RER stop. Smallish room as you'd expect but done very nicely. Highly recommended.
