Nice, small, near main centre.
Really nice manager, very helpful and informal. Great location, would stay again.
This room is located in the amsterdam-inn. 3 minutes walking distance from central station of Amsterdam. The room has shared bathroom and toilet.
Three person room with shared facilities.
Four person room with private facilities.
must pay cash on arrival! stairs very steep. allot of noise from the street, and from people who were staying in the room above ours. price was ok for what u got. awesome location!!!
we had to walk down 2 flights of stairs to reach our shared bathroom and toilet. the guy at the front desk was not much help, although it is close to the coffee shop area and pubs but not too close to the red light area. despite the travel to the toilets it was ok
Staff was great. Central location. Nice budget hotel. No sheets on bed, shared bathroom.
very nice and helpfully man at the disk:-)
Great location, right in the heart of it all. Great service and clean room. Basic but great value, I would recommend this place to others
Good location but and I'm sorry but the shower wasn't clean
We were only there for 1 night, but would definatley go back! The stairs are really steep, like anywhere in Amsterdam, and it was a little hard to find as there is no advertising from the street, just a Brown wooden door with 79b on the front, just ring the top buzzer (small writing saying 'B&B') and someone will let u in. Great location, friendly staff, comfy beds, all and all a good place to stay!
The Amsterdam Inn seems to be run by a one man band, it's not for the faint hearted. We arrived and were welcomed and then climbed the stairs and ladders to our tiny little bedroom with campbeds in the attic. The sheets were clean and the bathroom and toilet at the bottom of the ladder and stairs were mostly clean although the blue and neon lights make it feel a little grizzly. I have to say my boyfriend and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, if anything the shady feel of our accommodation added to our Amsterdam experience. Enjoy :)
The B&B is good basic accomodation. It is very close to Central Station and ideally located for all local attractions. Although very basic, this was more than made up for by the efforts of Abdul (Concierge) who went out of his way to make sure we wanted for nothing.
The bathroom was good but the room had mice so obviously this was not good. Had a good holiday though.
Given that the shower had to be shared, a pair of slippers was provided for use when taking a bath. This was the only pair of slippers, however, and so it had to be shared by all. As such, it would have been better if disposable bath mats were provided. Apart from this, I found the owner to be very accommodating - When I arrived, I only had US dollars. We were, however, able to make an arrangement whereby I would change the US dollars as soon as possible, so that he could be paid in EUROs. Most of my interaction was with the owner’s wife during my stay as she was more available. This was perhaps the highlight of my stay as, although she spoke very little English, we nevertheless found a way to communicate successfully.
