This 3 star hotel is located in the very center of Granada. Its rooms and XVIII granadine courtyard with fine decoration give the clients all the facilities for a pleasant and relaxing stay. The Hotel Anacapri provides a soothing atmosphere within the main commercial zone of Granada. The Hotel Anacapri is also very near to Granada’s Cathedral and Royal Chapel, both historical monuments, just a short walk from the Carrera del Darro and the Chancillería, and very close to the pedestrian entrance to the Alhambra and Generalife. The Sierra Nevada, which hosts the most southern ski station in Europe, is just 35 kilometers away.

Check-in Time: 12:00 PM

Check-out Time: 12:00 PM

Getting there:
Car: From the circunvalación, you take exit 132. In the roundabout, take the 3rd exit in the direction of Palacio de Congregos y Exposiciones de Granada. When you pass the Palacio de Congresos continue to the Paseo del Violón in the direction city center until you reach Puerta Real. Continue to the right on Ganivet Street to the end and turn left onto San Matías Street. When you reach the end turn left into Plaza Isabel La Católica. From the Plaze continue straight ahead onto Gran Vía de Colón and take the second street to the right(Cetti Meriem). The street that follows to the right is Joaquin Costa (parallel to Gran Vía). Continue straight ahead to the door of the hotel. On San Matias street, you will see a sign “only access for residents and hotel clients” and there is a vigilance camera. For this reason, it’s important that the receptionist write down your license plate number on a daily list sent out to Trafico to avoid possible fines.

Anacapri Hotel Granada Guest Reviews

4.4 out of 5

Do not try to drive to this hotel with a GPS. The many narrow lanes make it a nightmare. We pulled up in front of the hotel frustrated with a flat tyre. At the check in the receptionist Kathy, could see we were frustrated and tired. She immediately took control. As we checked into a very nice clean room she contacted the hire car company. The room did not have much space around the double bed but as we were only staying one night it was not a problem. The bathroom was clean and had enough toiletries. Only a short walk to restaurents, transport to Alhambra and shops. Kathy recommended a Tapas bar around the corner which was excellent. Africa (yes the evening shift receptionist was named Africa) carried on the excellent work that Kathy started. A replacement car was waiting for us next morning. Definitely will stay there again.

Great location in the heart of the walled city. Our room was clean and quiet. The front desk has limited hours, so early morning departures need prior arrangements. I'd stay there again.

The hotel itself is great, the reception staff extremely helpful and at least tri-lingual. The exterior of the hotel may initially be a bit off-putting, but inside it's clean, light and spacious. Rooms are good size, clean with a safe and sat TV. Located next to Al Albaicin and Plaza Sta Ana, however the street itself is just OK. Altogether, well worth considering.

Private cars are not allowed into the Realjo neighborhood in Granada where the hotel is located, so plan your route to the hotel very carefully if you are driving, it is better to come from the West. The hotel will get you out of one ticket.

The staff made this stay comfortable from the start. I would not consider another hotel if I were to return to Grenada. Do not miss the excellent tapas restaurants in the alleys across from the hotel. The location is excellent. Breakfast is adequate. If you fail to bring your own laptop (the hotel has WiFi), there is good terminal rental just a half-block away.
