this was a greta price considering we got the additional room for our family, the hotel is very close to disneyland, however, i dont think it is within 1 block, i never walked it, but it would be possible, i just parked for $12 save my energy. tha staff her was very friendly check out is at 11, they have a pool but it is small. also i was sad that ice was 25cents... they had a good sized fridge and a microwave, i recommend booking your next disney outing here, also it is right across the street from several great resturaunts.
The people at the Anaheim Islander Inn & Suites were so helpful and caring. I accidently booked the wrong dates and arrived on a convention booking.. They could only initially give me one night, but worked to find me bookings for the rest of my stay. They went out of their way to be helpful in a way you just don't find in hotels anymore. I will stay there whenever I go to Anaheim.
Our recently renovated non-smoking Standard Rooms feature Two(2) Queen-sized beds, Wireless Internet Access, 32 inch flat TV with Free HBO, CNN, & Disney Channel, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffeemaker, Hair Dryer and Iron/Board. Bathroom features tub, shower and vanity area.
This recently renovated Two Bedroom non-smoking suite is great for the family. The two bedrooms are separated by a door; one room has two Queen beds and the second room has one Queen bed. The bathroom has an entrance from both the rooms. Suite also features Wireless Internet Access, 32 inch flat screen TVs with Free HBO, CNN, & Disney Channel, Two Air condition units, Refrigerator, Microwave, Coffeemaker, Hair Dryer and Iron/Board. Bathroom features tub, shower and vanity area.
$3 for internet that does not work, Parking lot that is full and requires parking behind other cars. Other than that, everything else was great.
Some of the staff were very friendly and were happy to help you out with any directions needed. My only dissapointment was the breakfast continental means - a danish, or a crossaint and coffee or orange juice.
For the price not too bad a place.
We lost a 3 day Disney Pass on the first day. The Manager at Islander Inn & Suites suggested that we ask at the park if it could be replaced; if,failing that he sold us a 2 day pass saying that if we were able to replace the lost pass at the park he would refund the money for the 2 day pass. Much to our delight Disney Parks replaced the lost pass so we were able to return the 2 day pass that we didn't use. We found the Islander very accommodating and would stay there again on our next visit to Anaheim.

Excelant motel very near disney
Channel 3 on the in-room televisions was airing pornography (for free, and programmed into the remotes). I mentioned it to the manager on duty and he claimed it was just HBO. Whatever it was, it wasn't appropriate for a family-friendly hotel near Disneyland.
Within walking distance to Disneyland and family restaurants which was what we wanted. The staff went out of their way to be helpful ans accommodating.
The apartments are ideally located 5-10 mins walk from the entrance to Disneyland. The rooms are large and contain 2 doubles in 1 room and a king in the other. There are TV's in both rooms, although channel choice is not very good. The room also has a fridge and a microwave. The swimming pool is clean. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. They even allowed us to check out at 1pm on the last day and didn't even mention charging us for it.
A good cheap hotel close to Disneyland. The facilities and service are basic but if you just want a good bed and shower within 2 blocks of Disneyland then stay here! They advertise Internet access but it will cost you an extra $3 per day Would stay here again.
this hotel is well positioned 10 min walk to disneyland gates. great value for money. shuttle services 2 min walk to pick up area. cafes and dinners 3 min walk. all good food, great prices and service
It was nice and clean and very calm. When we visit Disneyland next time, I would like to stay here.
The Islander is a fantastic place to stay for anyone visiting Disneyland! My wife and I enjoyed it's convenience to Disneyland - just a 2 block walk away. Also, it is location on Katella Ave allowed us to explore a part of Anaheim which is not crowded with tourists like us! (There are several restaurants in the area) Although The Islander does not have a fancy restaurant and all the glitz and glamour of some of the upscale hotels near Disney, it does provide a spacious and clean room, very friendly front desk staff and an ideal location for visiting Disneyland and California Adventure. Dollar for dollar, we would not stay anywhere else. A word of advice... arrive at the parks before opening time and make the most of your morning. Disney tends to get a little crowded in the afternoon when area schools are finished for the day. Two big thumbs up to The Anahem Islander. We both look forward to coming back really soon!
Excellent location for Disneyland. All within walking distance
The Islander has been recently refurbished and the rooms are well appointed. We were very impressed with the large rooms and the quietness of the hotel. For the price it is very good value. Staff were very friendly and helpfull.
The accommodation was exactly what we wanted. The room was large, extremely clean and provided television, microwave and fridge. It was in walking distance to the convention Centre and also Disneyland. The hotel staff were extremely helpful. Perfect for the budget conscious traveller. We were thoroughly impressed!
