the room was very small, we had 2 average size bags and it was hard to open them and be able to walk in the room. The bathroom was a little hallway, it worked, but was very small as well.
Nice hotel, friendly staff close to gondalas and St Marks square and sites. Hotel located close to ferry and high end fashion stores. Great bathrooms.
Single room for 1 person
Double room for 2 persons
do not provide take away breakfast for those leaving early airconditioning does not start working until end of april. mid april was very warm and aircon was needes
Accommodation very clean but also very small room, quite good location once you get your bearings.
The location is excellebt with just an amazing 5 min walk to San Marco square. It was perfect for a Carnival time. I would definitely recommend the place.
Reception staff spoke English and French, were helpful and friendly at all times. The breakfast was better than I expected with a choice of cereals, rolls, croissants, jams, jellies, fruit juices and coffee or tea. I would definitely stay there again.
The hotel is located at very convenient location, very near to San Marco station. Within walking distances to the main shopping areas (Rialto Station). For directions to the hotel (very useful, got it from other reviewers) - Upon arriving the San Marco Station, look towards left and find Harry's Bar. Harry's Bar is on the corner of Calle Valleresso. Go down the path of Calle Valleresso until you need to turn. Go left. Pass American Express office. Go up and over the next bridge (in front of San Moise Church) and immediately go left past the San Moise Gondola station and HEAD UNDER the arch for Hotel Violino d'Oro. You have to go right at this point, and the next little passageway on the left will take you to the Anastasia.
Mattress lumpy and uncomfortable. Typical small Venetian room and typical poor Italian breakfast. Clean facility, well located to vaporetto and easy to find, and pleasant helpful staff. At price for room, very good value!
Excellent small hotel well located and well appointed. Service, quality of rooms and breakfasts excellent. bedrooms not large but well appointed.
Great location, excellent staff and wonderful stay.
Location is fantastic, can't ask for more for the price
Lovely hotel just minutes from San Marco with great, friendly staff and lovely room. It has a lift, aircon, in-room safe and great, spacious bathrooms. A warm inviting atmosphere in a quiet square. Make sure you don't get directions from Google maps like I did as you will be directed to the Rialto bridge. Instead go to the hotel website for directions. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.
Great location - 2 min walk to San Marco which was great. Room and bathroom were clean and comfortable. Service was pleasant not a lot of information for tourists from management. Breakfast was very basic - cereal, yogurt, rolls and cheese spread or nutella. 1 croissant each and a single cup of coffee. This could be much better for the price paid. (Some cold meats would of been great and some toast + extra coffee)
Excellent hotel, highly recommended!
We stayed one night in this hotel. The room while small was adaquate and clean. The ensuite was very nice and clean, our room looked onto a narrow street with no view but also no noise. The location is very central but a little hard to find. Over all it suited us for a one night stay and we would recommend.
If you want to be near S. Marco square, in a quiet corner of the city, and have a great cup of coffee and croissant for a quick breakfast...this is well worth the price. Room is small, but clean linens, spotless and spacious bathroom, AC (especially important....this city is very hot and humid in summer....even at midnight) makes this a great spot. Also near the very best shopping...Prada, Chanel, Ferragamo, Versace, Valentino, etc....
Excellent position, central but quiet. Service good and helpful. Small rooms and few facilities, but adequate. A good choice for a short city break.
Very small rooms, foul tasting coffee from a vending-type machine, but otherwise extremely good value. Efficient & friendly staff. Quiet, but located a stone's throw from San Marco Square.
FIRST CLASS LOCATION AND EASY TO GET BACK TO FROM WHEREVER YOU WANDER TOO - VERY CLEAN - VERY FRIENDLY - SO ENJOYED OUR STAY VERY MUCH INDEED
Very good accomodation located within 2 minutes of St Marks. Rooms good, although a little small, well furnished and clean. Prices very good and again must place great emphasis on a great location.
