Via Domenico Scarlatti 24 20124 Milan
The Hotel Andreola Central is one of the many historical 4-star hotels in Milan that opened at the same time the Central train station moved to its current location, originally behind the Spanish walls (currently Piazza della Repubblica). The hotel is located in Via Scarlatti, an extension to the Central train station's Galleria delle Carrozze which ends in Corso Bueonos Aires. Over the long and venerable years since its establishment, many VIPs have patronized the hotel: Fausto Coppi, the bicycle champion, prize-winning boxer Primo Carnera and Italian soccer stars during the sixties when the first player contracts were negotiated. The building was fully renovated from top to bottom in 2000. This took almost two years and even concerned structural building parts. More than simple restyling, the owner wanted to completely reorganize the entire hotel and its services.

Nice hotel for the price and location. Terrible internet-- had to pay per hour, then the wireless didn't work in the room and we had to sit in the lobby to use it!
The breakfast was average. The location was good.
Only real complaint is that shower only had half a door. Otherwise this hotel is clean and efficient. Nearby is Milano Centrale Station, which I thought would be in Milan Central, but Milan centre is some way away, (probably more than a mile!!) although links exist via Metro. Hotel staff somewhat Po faced, especially barmen!! with no personality at all. Everyone else efficient and pleasant. Good English spoken.
We found the reception staff arrogant and unhelpful and would not have stayed here had it not been for the fact it was extrememly hot outside, we were tired from train travelling all day and we were in a city never visited before!!!! We were treated like an inconvenience!!! The cost of using the WIFI in the lobby way toooo high compared to other hotel where we stayed, during our time in Europe and in most cases it was free to its guests! The breakfast staff were indifferent and when asked by several guests to turn down the music that was piped loudly into the dining room this was refused. When we requested ice for our room this was also refused. We will be recommending that friends and family DO NOT stay here!!!
Very convienient near central station for the airport shuttle to Malpensa and the metro. Quiet room and excellent breakfast.
can be recommanded for business and leisure!
good hotel, close to trainstation and metro, good breakfast
A delightful hotel handily located near Centrale Station with easy access to the city centre (or a longish walk).
€3 for 30 minutes on internet is absolutely horrendous!
Great Hotel with medium sized rooms. Good breakfast. Three minutes from Central station. Highly recommended.
Great place to stay near the train and metro station. At the Duomo in 10 minutes by metro
Excellent position. Not a lot of charm but everything was correct. Ideal for cathcing an early train as I did. I would stay there again.
