The privately owned Anglo Swiss Hotel is tranquilly situated on Bournemouth's exclusive and picturesque East Cliff. The hotel is just five minutes walk from the town's famous sandy beaches and only a short stroll away from the bustling restaurants, fashion boutiques, nightclubs and theatres. Set in a small sanctuary surrounded by tall pine trees and gardens the hotel offers a contemporary yet stylish restaurant and a choice of lounge and bar areas in which to relax.

Getting there:
From the M3/M27 Bournemouth is approached on the A338, which leads onto Wessex Way. Follow the signs to the East Cliff, carry on over two roundabouts onto Gervis Road where the Anglo Swiss Hotel will be found on the right hand side

The room supplied was a chalet type room located at the back of the hotel. The room was exceptionally large and spacious and very quiet, would definately use this hotel again.

The hotel is currently being re-decorated - the first two floors having now been done. We stayed on the top (third) floor, which was in a bit of disrepair; but still OK. The buffet breakfast is plentiful and reasonably tasy. There is also some gym equipment, jaccuzzi, sauna and 15m swimming pool; which are clean and nice. The hotel is a five minutes walk from the beach and 10 minutes walk from the town centre, where the shopping and nightlife is situated.

Very friendly service, very clean. I used the hotel while on business and as a female lone traveller felt very secure and well looked after.
