Angsana Resort Great Barrier Reef

We stayed at the Angsana for our honeymoon. We enjoyed our stay at the Resort despite the threat of tropical cyclone Olga. The Resort isn't the newest or most modern in Palm Cove however, our one bedroom suite was very large and well appointed. We had a full kitchen, dining table and living room on one level while our bedroom, two separate bathrooms (spa bath in one) and sofa were upstairs. I'd be happy to stay in better weather.

We rate the hotel and facility at a 5 star level - the apartments were very spacious. The staff, however, was limited in number, and it took a long time before the room was serviced each day. However, the assistant manager, Jeff was excellent and very helpful. The restaurant was pricy and service was not very good.

I had to walk up several flights of steps to get to my accommodation. OK for me but not for everyone. The restaurant attached to the hotel was quite inferior to what is available nearby. The staff were very kind and considerate.

As the only absolute beachfront property in Palm Cove and surrounding area, the Angsana was our first choice. The apartments are well-appointed and the beachfront units offer a superb view of the beach and the Coral Sea. We highly recommend Angsana Resort Great Barrier Reef. We'll be back!

Stayed one night at this fabulous hotel. Has everything going for it. The location is perfect (on the beach); the staff just couldn't be more helpful and friendly and the rooms are wow!, very spacious and beautiful decor.

the Hotel was beautiful - we stayed an extra night. Our room, described as a pool view room, was in fact a suite with a large living/dining room and kitchen area, large bedroom with 2 wardrobes and settee and 2 bathrooms along with a separate laundry room. The Spa facilities were excellent and reasonably priced.

The personnel were very friendly and accomodating. The hotel had the best location on the island. My only constructive feedback is to have the hotel upgrade their bedroom equipment to a 5 star status.

Great resort. The rooms are very spacious and include a full living room area, kitchen and laundry facilities. Ideal for a longer-term stay.

The sea front location for breakfast was wonderful, the staff were very friendly and food in the resturant was first class. Would definetley stay there again.

Brilliant location. Breakfast overlooking the beach and the massage at the SPA was out of this world.

Excellent location, lovely apartments with top-of-the-line appliances. Loved the rock pool. Good spa too.

We had a beachfront apartment that I would highly recommend. Views from the balcony of the beach through palm trees over the hotel swimmining pool are hard to beat.

This fantastic beachfront luxury suite hotel is excellent value for money. The beachfront suite has a spectacular view. The suite is incredibly spacious. The Spa was exquisite I can HIGHLY recommend the spa treatments especially the massages. All the staff are VERY helpful and friendly. I have already recommended it to everyone I met around Palm Cove and Port Douglas and will continue to recommend it to everyone I meet. I will be back!

Superior location on Coral Sea under swaying palm trees. Restaurant has excellent wait staff and food; background music is off-putting in restaurant......spa music throughout facility until restaurant which had American top 40. Rooms are very large and well appointed with housekeeping staff eager to serve any request. Excellent facility.
