Anise Hotel Hanoi

Significantly good hotel. Especially service is Great.

Good value for money, definitely will stay in this hotel if return to Hanoi.

Good very modern hotel .. with minimalist style decor. Good applianaces in the room and quite ...especially the room without windows.

The internet should have been provided for free. Service was excellent even though at times it was hard to make ourselves understood by the staff on duty. The food was very basic and kept to a minimum.

Our room was new, clean and comfortable, but unfortunately we were out of hot water during our morning shower. Breakfast is nothing special but according to the price. In general, I think that value for money is ok though in my opinion it is a bit far from the ancient town (15 minutes by taxi) and if you are gonna stay several days it is better to stay in the ancient town.

This is a great hoitel for the price. It is clean, rooms are fine and staff are most friendly. The only dis-advantage for me is the location. It is at the boundary of the old quarter which is no problem during day but more so at night. Having said that I have nothing but compliments for this hotel.

I sayed standard single room at Anise Hotel for 2 nights in late August. The room is very clean and nice (although it lacks Vietnamese touch). However, the service level, especially that of frond desk staff, is below average. Their service quality and English level vary widely for each individual. I felt that the hotel chose staff for its (fashion model-like) looks rather than experience or English level. Finally, I want to add that they charged me $30 for one day Halong Bay tour, which is $20 at tour agency.

After staying 5 days in Anise it was not so bad, the interior was fine with the minimal contenporer design, the cleanlines is fine but they do not have turndown service for 3 star hotel. Quite bored with the same breakfast menu everyday, do not have many of choices. Staff are friendly but need improving in the front desk. Half days room rate were requested for early check in (10am) meanwhile it wasn't mention on the reservation. Internet usage at the business centre is not free meanwhile it was mention free of charge on the net. No safe deposit box, no tea bags, only coffee sachet on the facilities. Nice duvet. The best mattrass i ever found in Vietnam after Sweet sleeper bed sheraton. but lack of hand towel in the bathroom. Wide range of wifi even in the room.

Good stay. New Hotel and close to Old Quarter area. Value for money. Good breakfast. Nice and clean. Only disadvantage is no Swimming Pool and no net phone even in surrounding area.

I would definitely stay here again, even though it was a little out of the way. We had a more expensive room, so I'm not sure what the economy room would be like, but ours was very nice. There are cheaper hotels that are closer in to the center of town, but if you don't mind the commute and/or price, it was quite pleasant.

Extremely sweet and helpful staff. The hotel is very clean and the breakfast is much more than we expected. The girls serving breakfast with a big smile is just the perfect way to start out the day.

I stayed at the Anise on a business trip and found it to be an excellent choice. It is in a prime location, has excellent service and since I needed internet connectivity I was pleasantly surprised to find ADSL in my room. You can't go wrong on the price for this jewel.

This is a boutique style concept hotel and is strategically located in the city. The room concept and design is contemplary and clean. Staffs are friendly and helpful, their breakfast only served western and is above average plus very fresh orange juice. The only set back for the 3star hotel is certain rooms have no window. Overall is value for money.

New hotel with clean and good facilities, staff is helpful. The location being north of old quarters means a walk of 15-20 mins to city centre or overpriced taxi trip by dishonest drivers.

Nice hotel - new, clean and modern. There is a small gym and a small room with 2 computers for guests (free of charge). The rooms are clean, well lit and have nice bathrooms. The staff are nice although the night staff can have trouble understanding english. Only problems we had were that the tours they offerred us were more expensive than elsewhere (we eventually booked at [other hotel]) and also we were charged for the minibar when we didn't actually take anything (maybe the maids have a thing for Diet Coke). Apart from that we enjoyed the Anise hotel.

It is a pleasant surprise as we did not know what to espect. We went in a group for a conference and everyone had good remarks. The bell person was really helpful, we had asked him to buy for us some local coffee powder to take back as a souvenir and he did (this was at 7.30am). Also someone from our group had dropped his brand new pda/phone at the hotel when we checked out. The bell boy called us on our mobile and returned the gadget to us. All good but breakfast is very simple, not buffet line.
