Anna Hotel Helsinki

Large comfortable bedroom ,very helpful and friendly staff...excellent!

I found this hotel to be of an excellent standard with rooms large enough for my stay. The hotel is centrally located and is within walking distance to all shopping and access to harbor tours and markets. As well as historic places. There are heaps of eating and bars within a few hundred meters. Pricing was very economical. The only one item I would like to see is a kettle and a mug for making coffee or tea. There is a machine (coffee/Tea etc) on the ground floor though. Very comfortable bed and the included breakfast was quite sufficient. I would definately recommend and will be staying here again.

This is a hotel which has everything you need, comfortably, but with no extra luxury. The location is excellent, the staff is efficient and friendly, the hotel is not noisy as there are no bars or restaurants connected, the breakfast is healthy Scandinavian style, and, what is best, there is free broadband connection in every room. A small handy hair dryer in the room is a plus, it would be nice also to have a possibility to make your own tea. This hotel is well worth the reasonable price you pay for staying there.

Location is good and easy to walk to the central area and tourist area. Breakfast is good and variey of choice.

Modest but clean hotel, in very quite area and very close (5min to walk) to centre of the city.

Free WI-FI Internet access is definitely a plus

All in all good, but quality of bed could be better.

Found the staff extremely friendly, helpful and efficient. It has a very pleasant and cozy feeling, is convenient to city centre and harbour and -- a big plus for me as a runner -- is adjacent to beautiful parkland. So, though it's not the most spacious or luxurious place I've ever stayed, I would definitely stay again.

we arrived very late (cheap flights!) and were welcomed by the night porter. Rooms clean, nice showers, elevator and excellent breakfast.

Very much noise from the street, especialy at night. Very hot in the room, missed air conditioning.

Nice place, a little out of city but nice walk (10-15 minutes)

I have stayed at Hotel Anna four times now. The location is excellent - walking distance from most of central Helsinki- and staff are really pleasant and helpful. The rooms are compact, but fully equipped. There is a book exchange system (once free, now for a nominal fee) whereby you can leave books and choose new ones (in English or Finnish).

I enjoyed staying at Hotel Anna as it was comfortable and central. My stay was very brief - only overnight - as I was joining friends later.

This is a nice little hotel in a great location, my first room was a bit noisy from the street so when I asked, it was no problem for them to change my room to a quieter room facing the courtyard. I had a single room and it was rather small but adequate and the breakfast was very pleasant. Overall I would stay there again.

Hotel is in a great location near the center with lots of restaurants, bars and night clubs nearby. Rooms can be on the small side but that's normal for Europe. Who really wants to spend too much time in the room when there is so much to do and see in Helsinki. Reception staff are friendly and helpful.

Not a pleasant building but rooms clean and comfortable and staff friendly.

We stayed for three nights and the staff where very helpful and friendly. Rooms are a nice size and are very clean. It is a comfortable and relaxed hotel but not a very flashy.
