Anne De Bretagne Hotel Saint Malo

It was a perfectly good, clean, comfortable hotel for an overnight stay.

the hotel was clean and bacis, which was just what we needed. we would have liked to have had a tea/coffee facitility in the room. we will be using this hotel again.

it is well situated off the main square. staff all speak good english and are very helpful. most rooms small but clean and comfortable. lounge and breakfast room bright and cheery. Fair price for central st malo. Would stay there again for location, staff, cleanliness and price.

I paid for two triple rooms, the demerit was that we had to be separated, our rooms were in two different wards. I wish we could have been in the same ward. The ward where I stayed had no lift, so it was inconvenient. The third bed in my room had planks falling out from it... but the staff were helpful.

I stayed one night prior to catching the ferry to Portsmouth. Location very handy for shops. The bedroom was uninspiring and clean. Shower & en-suite but no bath. Breakfast selection was minimal and completely self-service. Staff on reception were pleasant and helpful.

Staff were polite and friendly. Bedroom was basic but functional. Continental breakfast was substantial. Good value 'no frills' hotel.

The Anne De Bretagne Hotel was ideal for our six day break in St Malo. You couldn't have asked for a better location, and the hotel was very clean and tidy. Breakfast was wonderful - croissants, bread rolls, cake, biscuits, yoghurts, fruit puree, fruit etc, with unlimited hot drinks and juice. The staff were charming and helpful. My children (aged 15 and 12) were able to use the internet regularly, for a small fee. Our room was of an average size, with twin beds plus an arm chair that converted into the third bed. There was a small table and two chairs, and we managed to find BBC1 and C4 on the television! Our ensuite shower room was large, and of a very high standard. In short, we had a wonderful, comfortable stay.

The room smelled a little mouldy, but overall was pleasant.

a lot of noise on the street late at night and early morning due to the situation of the hotel, but not their fault

Breakfast is good, the hotel staff are great. Great location though so good value for money. We had a great time.

This hotel is right in the heart of the old walled town of St Malo. Everything thing is within easy walking distance.

We shared a family room with our two children. The room was clean, comfortable and roomy. Its location was wonderful - in the heart of Intra Muros (the old town). Saint Malo is beautiful and we only wish that we could have stayed longer!!!

Within walking distance of a variety of good restaurants,the centre of the old part of town and the nearby beach.Ideal if you have children who moan about walking too far.
