The Hotel is Totaly NON SMOKING HOTEL,situated in a quiet one-way street, 3 minutes walk from the Central Railway Station, DGI, Øksnehallen, Scala, Tivoli, The Townhall Square and "Strøget". Many parking places in front of the hotel and free Motorcycle-parking in closed yard. Beverages are served in a charming back yard in the summer. The hotel has recently been renovated and modernised and now has 81 newly renovated room with own toilet&shower. 22 single rooms, 35 double rooms and 24 large family rooms with four beds. (Family rooms can be enlarged with extra beds). Internet Cafe Bar/Coffee at the reception.All rooms with Flat screen which is also a computer+ wireless connection.

Getting there:How to find Hotel Ansgar: How to reach Hotel Ansgar by train Having left the customs at Copenhagen Airport, continue straight ahead and below the clock you will find the DSB-office / ticket machine selling train tickets. Adults one way charge DKK 25,50 to Copenhagen. Trains leave several times every hour and the ride takes 12-15 min. to Copenhagen Central Station. When you leave the train, walk up the large steel staircase leading to Tietgensgade. Once you are on the street, face the Central Station Building, and then walk left down Tietgensgade for about 180 meters to Colbjoernsensgade. Turn right and you will see the sign of Hotel Ansgar. Car parking:Public parking in front of the hotel in the street. Ansgar is in the "blue parking zone" where following is valid: Parking fee: DKK 15 per hour: Monday - Friday 8 AM -10 PM. Saturday 8 AM-5 PM Free parking: Every evening 6 PM - next morning 8 AM and Friday 6 PM - Monday 8 AM. 250 meters from here starts green zone. Price DKK 12 per hour. You pay also on Saturday in green & red zone. Please ask for further information in the reception on arrival.

the rooms where very small. we could not enter the bed from 3 sides. we will not use the hotel again. high price for a little room
Stayed at this hotel in may 2007. Price: 750 DKK per night for a single room with breakfast. Pros: Good location, size of room ok, good breakfast. Cons: Could not watch the TV from bed and only a few channels, shower could be better. Would stay here agian.
The hotel was being renovated during my visit and this meant that parts of the hotel were not very clean . This is understandable. The room was clean however. wifi signal can be weak in certain rooms. Breakfast was good . Location 2 mins walk from central station was very good.
Very close to the train station which is good. WiFi blocks UDP not so good . Wi-fi Fre very good. Overall good to very good rating.

Centrally located nr railway station. Quiet room. Smallest ensuited bathroom I've ever seen.
Free Wireless. Single room has a single ben and an ensuite bathroom. Friendly staff. 15 min walk to the city centre.
Well located and affordable, but far from luxury. The bathroom/shower solution is a must-see for any tourist ;)
Very nice place indeed - extremely well situated close to the main station, and in a quiet street. Quiet rooms. I had a small room, but with all that was needed, a desk, a chair etc. Nice scandinavian wooden furniture. Breakfast buffet with everything you need - cereals, bread, pastries, fruit, fruitjuice, cheese, etc. Atrium with small cafe tables and chairs.
It's a good hotel for families
Simple hotel with pleasant service and clean premises for a very good price.
It´s a very good place near Tivoli and the city. Rooms are Very good!
