Antea Hotel

The staff at Antea Hotel were amazing! They were very helpful and accommodating! I was however, very disappointed with the condition of the room. There was mold on the wall/ceiling. The beds were VERY uncomfortable and the shower was terrible (went from hot to cold in seconds and the pressure fluctuated significantly as well). In terms of value for my money I was not impressed. The location is fantastic - within walking distance to most of the tourist attractions in the old City; therefore, I think that was some significant upgrades and remodeling, Antea could be a great place to stay. Until that happens, I would unfortunately rate this hotel a 2 out of 5.

Great breakfast at this little spot near the grand bazaar, probably the best turkish coffee in istanbul. Rooms are small, bathrooms are tiny. The staff are extremely friendly & helpful. You can walk to all the major sites in Istanbul from here.

The location of the hotel is excellent. All the major tourist attractions are within walking distance (we are talking about 100-200 meters away from the hotel). It is located right in the heart of the old city. You can easily find everything, food, souvenirs and etc. The receptionists are very helpful. Anyway, the facilities are old and not as beautiful as in the website. All in all, it is quite a decent hotel if you don't really care about the room.

The Hotel is quaint and very well maintained. The biggest problem is that it is too far from the centre of town, at least a 30 minute brisk walk. This makes it very awkward for eating as you have to walk into town for a meal and then it is a long walk back. No problem if you are travelling by car.

Excellent - conveniently situated for sightseeing, staff exceptionally helpful and friendly, room small but very comfortable and good breakfasts. Would recommend to anyone.

Good value for money

Very small room and badrum, to be an 4 stars hotel

Whike the rooms were small, the hotel was very convenient to Hagia Sophia, the Grand Bazaar and trams. Left Luggage storage was available at no charge while we were on a three day tour and this was very useful. There were many fine restaurants within walking distance A hotel van was available for travel to the airport comparable to the cost of a taxi. The staff were couteous and helpful.

An excellent, very friendly and polite staff. Few minutes walk from historic attractions. Breakfast was just okay. Very calm and quite location. Highly recommended and would like to stay again. Very good price.

A great place to stay - nice and close to the Grand Bazaar and other shops, Mosque is not too far away and the staff were lovely. We will look at staying again over the summer months.
