Antemare Hotel & Spa Sitges

Nice hotel near centre of Sitges, small and clean room.

5th visit. Always a pleasure.

Excellent pool area, good reception service, good breakfast. Bad restaurant service and poor soundproofing in rooms.

the hotel is combined conference and tourist which means the rooms are small but in a good condition. The restaurant has a good menu (18 EUR three courses in May 2008). Staff was quite OK. The pool area is great, easy to access and the pool is deep enough to dive (important if you travel with a 10-year old!). Location is close to the beach and there is a wonderful beach promenade. It is in aresidential area which menas there are few restaurants and the hotel provides a small menu at lunch (maybe you have to preorder). We will definately try it again.

I have stayed at this hotel on a number of ocassions. While it is a bit our of the centre, its location is in a lovely residential area. the facilities are very good and have improved with the recent makeover. The service is always good. It is also very close to the beach.

Car parking major issue

Had a very nice time EXCEPT for two minor issues: One is the pool which was literally swarming with little british hooligans at all hours of the day. Doesn't help there are no swimming pool rules (no ball, no diving, adult only hours., etc.). That said the pool is very nice (small) but not very relaxing. The other is food outside of meal hours at the bar. There simply isn't any. When the kitchen is open they'll make you nice sandwiches and bocadillos but when it's not the best you can get is an ice cream or a pack of chips... this is a problem since they aren't really close to any sort of store or food venue. Being a little far from other facilities I would have imagined better "snacking options" and more bar food.

Close to a very nice beach, but within walking distance of the town

Excellent buffet breakfast

A nice and clean hotel with friendly staff located 2 kilometers from the train-station in Sitges. A short walk will take you to many nice restaurants.

This was our 2nd stay at this hotel and although the swimming pool was out of action the hotel maintained its quality during our stay.

This was an excellent hotel, al little out of the way in Sitges, but only 10 minutes walk from the centre with all its bars, shops, clubs, etc. We stayed in March, and they were doing some work on the swimming pools so they were out of use, but then we only paid half price for the rooms to compensate so can't complain. A couple of minor issues - we were put in a room at the back of the hotel and the balcony got no sun at all. It probably wouldn't have mattered (and even been nice and cool) in summer, but in March it would have been nice to get some sun (they may have put us here to keep us away from the noise of the work on the pool, but didn't tell us if that was the case). The other issue was that the soundproofing wasn't great - the hotel was fairly empty so it didn't matter, but I think it could be noisy in summer. On the whole though, it was a great hotel, excellent breakfast (with loads of yum pastries and cakes), clean rooms, friendly staff, very professional and well run.

Antemare is a pleasant hotel to stay. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and comfortabel. The rooms are very noisey and the beds were bad. The location is good and the walking distance to the centre of Sitges is pleasant. When they will replace some of the beds we'll be back!

The room was clean. The closet shelves were dusty which we discovered when we put our clothes on the shelves. The location is within easy walking distance of the "downtown.

There was no room service. Surprising for a 4 star hotel. They never could get clear reception for CNN. I would have liked to have a computer that I could use at the hotel.

Is rather more pleasant than the photos show, unusually!

I found the Antemare to be very pleasant and staff extremely helpful.

Ok, but rooms are small and not quite what you expect for the money. Rooms in main building are noisey due to banging doors in the corridor.

Great! We really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Antemare and would thoroughly recommend it. Mind you, ask for rooms overlooking the main pool, (we had great ones) as some in the basement can be small and dark. The bar and restaurant staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The facilities were great - the only downside was the breakfast that wasn't quite up to scratch to the otherwise v good restaurant. We will be back!

Rooms are quite small but newly refurbished, on the contrary my bathroom was pretty old. Breakfast room is very nice by the pool, and the buffet is really good.
