Getting there:Anzac hotel is located adjacent to the famous Historical Clock Tower at the heart of Canakkale. The sea side and the ferry jetty square is just 50 m away, where you can walk by the lovely shores of Dardanelles. If you are coming from istanbul, the buses stop at the ferry jetty square, where you can easily reach us. If you are coming from Ankara or izmir, buses usually stop at the central bus station (otogar) , which is about 8 minutes walking distance away from Anzac Hotel. You can take the free bus services to ‘ iskele meydani’ or take a taxi. It takes about 3 minutes drive from ‘otogar’ to Anzac Hotel. The Onsekizmart University Exhibition Center lies opposite of Anzac Hotel. The shopping center, pubs, clubs, restaurants, banks , tourist information office and coach offices are scattered around Anzac Hotel. Hospital and post office are about 500 m away from the hotel.

I was very happy with this hotel; the staff was very friendly and helpful. They set up a tour for us to see Gallipoli. The location was great right next to the port and in the center of the town, walking distance to everything. They also had free secure parking. The only negative was the big bed was two smalls pushed together (not so comfortable) and the shower was a little old one of the sliding doors falling off the track.

The service at this hotel is as good as I've ever experienced. The rooms are exactly what you expect for the price, but the service is absolutely 5 star.

The hotel is really close to the ferry and easy to find, we had a hire car and they parked it for us for free over night. The hotel rooms are basic but clean. The staff there were very friendly and helpful.
Recoomended an excellent restaurant for cheap Turkish food. Oranised for us tovisit Gallipoli with TJs (higly recommended tour).
A nice place - clean & simple. Staff were very helpful & pleasant. I would definitely recommend it and would stay there again if I´m ever in Canakkale!

Anzac Hotel is in need of a renovation but it is clean and close to all facilities. The staff were nicely dressed and very helpful and friendly. It is probably a little better then a hostel but for the price and location you can't complain.
Clean hotel, with extremely friendly staff. Great location on pedestrian street with convienent free parking across the street. Good value at $45 night double with breakfast.
