"For backpackers wanting to meet people this hostel/hotel is good value for money.For anybody wanting peace & quiet this is not the
place to be!Admitedly i visited during a very busy period(the World Cup) when the staff were under a lot of pressure to keep everybody
satisfied.The A & O is ideal for 18-30's but not so good for families.

Breakfast was very basic, but we had a view of the whole of Berlin thanks to a huge advertisement covering the whole building opposite! Opposite the main station Zoologischer Garten and 2 minutes from the famous shopping street ‘Kurfürstendamm’ - the A&O HOSTEL am ZOO is located in the heart of Berlin.
Have a cocktail, a draught beer or a small snack in the ‘Lobby Bar’ or our ‘Train Spot Bar’ and enjoy our daily changing entertainment program.
Our comfortable terrace invites you to do some ‘train spotting’.
