Getting there:From Westbahnhof (Western Railway Station): Leave Westbahnhof direction Felberstrasse. Turn right direction Neubaugürtel federal highway B221. When reaching this road turn left and proceed on this road for about 1.3 kilometres. Now you have to turn left into Lerchenfelder Gürtel and you can already see our hostel. But you can also take the underground U6 direction Floridsdorf and get off at the stop Thaliastrasse . From the airport: From the airport Schwechat you can take the Bus 1187 direction Westbahnhof. Go up to Westbahnhof and there you change for the underground U6 direction Floridsdorf. Get off at the stop Thaliastrasse and go on foot to the Hostel. You may, however, go directly to the hostel on foot from the Western railway station, it is in walking distance. Please, follow the directions when coming from Westbahnhof.

The hotel is fairly priced. While in the redlight district, you dont have any problems with noise, disturbances and so on. I didnt try the buffet but ate at a local restaurant. It is right by local tram/train station.
Very basic but you get what you pay for
A Bit of the beaten path in a not so Glamorous area but hey this is all the bad things I could think of. I went there wishing for a clean warm Place to rest after exploring Vienna on foot, And that is exactly what I got. To address some probable visitors aesthetic concerns: Yes the hotel is a bit on the IKEA style furniture, yes it lacks personality but the staff is helpful, the rooms clean and the price unbeatable. If you are visiting Vienna and want a good/cheap place to rest, do yourself a favor and check this out.
Very happy with this hostel
Hotel is in the 'red light district" but it's quite safe and OK to walk the streets nearby at night. In the shops nearby it would help if you could speak Turkish. Clean, Friendly and well priced for Vienna.
The room was tiny with a small private bathroom, and crowded with 2 twin beds about 18" apart...almost as small as a "train sleeper-room." The location was great since we arrived by train from Budapest and were going on to Salzburg. The metro station was half block from the hotel and one stop from the Westbanhoff Train station were we bought a 3 day metro pass for 12 Euros and were able to view all main/key sights during our stay.
