Apa Hotel Osaka Temma is located near Temma Station on the JR Osaka Loop Line. It is right in the middle of OAP, a new vacation area. It is quite convenient spot, close to both a bustling shopping quarter and a high-rise business district. Enjoyable tourist opportunities are within walking distance, such as the famous cherry blossom tunnel at the Japan in spring, and fireworks at Tenjin Festival in summer. At Apa Hotel Osaka Temma you will be welcomed by hospitality service, friendly staff, modern facilities, seasonal delicacies and very reasonable prices - a combination you simply cannot find at large-scale hotels. Each room is equipped with a washlet and wired internet access. On the second floor, "Genyo-no-yu" offers a grand bath, an open-air bath, a sauna and shower for all guests.

Train: Walk 5 minutes from JR Temma Sta. or 6 minutes from the West Exit of JR Sakuranomiya Sta., both on the JR Osaka Loop Line Subway: Walk 7 minutes from Ogimachi Subway Sta. (Sakaisuji Line). Air: From Kansai International Airport with Limousine Bus to Kansai Airport Sta., then with Limited Express Haruka to JR Osaka Sta., then with JR Osaka Loop Line to Tenma Sta. and Walk to Hotel (total 80 minutes). From Osaka Itami Airport with Limousine Bus to JR Osaka Sta., then with JR Osaka Loop Line to Temma Sta. and Walk to Hotel (total 45 minutes).

People working at APA Hotel are extremely helpful and friendly. The service is very good and the price is competitive. The girl at the reception spoke very good English and was very patient and helpful. I also think the cleaning ladies were very friendly and even run after me when I was checking out as I left something in my room. The room could be a bit more cosy. Lights with dimmer would help. Would prefer to have the hotel nearer to a metro stop. Over all I like the hotel and would recommend it to anyone who is planning to stay some nights at Osaka.

Although marketed as a 5-minute walk from JR Temma Station, it actually took about 7 minutes to walk from the station through a run-down backlane. There is no pedestrian walkway and guests have to drag their luggage along the small road. A small plus is a 100 yen shop located just opposite Temma Station. Single rooms are very small although the breakfast is reasonably good. Comments by guests from Singapore. Nov 2006.
