"The Solimar isn´t so bad, bt we would not choose to go there again. Why? Parking while unloading cases involves squeezing into a tiny space directly in front of the door - IF it´s free! Overnight parking is then available in the compound across the street, but at the cost of E10. The worst aspect of our stay, probably not the fault of the hotel, was their failure to recognise that we had booked and paid a deposit. The booking was via "Hotel Club", and we had a long wait while our booking was verified. Our room was small but adequate for one night. We were surprised to find no way of securing the window against intrusion - but hey! it IS Spain!" - John Bushby
