Getting there:Driving to the Metropolis from the Airport: Start by driving straight through from the airport into George Bolt Memorial Drive. Then cross the Mangere Bridge and continue into Hugh Watt Drive No. 20. Take the Queenstown Motorway exit. Turn right into Pah Road which then leads into Manukau Road. Follow straight and onto Broadway in Newmarket. Turn left onto Alpers Road, and then left onto Gillies Avenue. Turn Left onto Motorway No. 1 and then take the Wellesley Street Motorway Exit. Turn into Kitchener Street and the Metropolis Hotel Auckland is located on the corner of Kitchener Street and Courthouse Lane.

Child Policy:Children stay free in rooms if using existing bedding. Rollaways are available in some rooms and are charged at $40inc GST per night. Baby cot available at nominal charge.
Apartment was lovely. Beds very comfy! Everything in the apartment that we needed and more!! Great location - just a short walk to Queen St. Kids enjoyed the pool and spa. Excellent

Beautiful apartments in a very central location. Lack of bar/restaurant facilities only down side.
Overall location, room size and price were very good. Rooms were a little dated but the views made up for it!
Location wise it was great as it was in the middle of the city and convenient to everything, so I would recommend it to others......

This hotel is awesome. The quality of the fit out is amazing. Although it is at the Southern end of the city hub, it is right in amongst some of the best shopping Auckland has to offer.
My lady friend and I had the pleasure of staying in this Hotel. We could not fault anything at all and left there very very satisfied.The staff were more than helpful and we were made to feel very special. We will be staying there again in the not so distance future. Thank you Metropilis.

Fantastic views, spacious rooms, quiet, professionally run hotel, I'll be staying again.
We enjoyed our stay although we thought the rooms were rather small. The man in the bar was very friendly but I think he may have been lonely as we were the only customers, mind you that may have been because the wine was 12 dollars a glass! There didn't seem to be a restaurant for evening dining which was a pity.
