Getting there:Planes: Dundee Airport is just a few minutes drive from the city centre. The airport is west of the city on Riverside Drive. Turn right out of the airport and head directly into town. You will drive through a series of roundabouts until you reach the City’s main roundabout, just after you pass Discovery. Take the one o’clock turn off to City Quay (avoiding the approach road for the bridge). The next smaller roundabout gives direct access to City Quay and the Hotel. Trains: Dundee Rail Station is a 2 minute transfer from the Hotel. The City is served by the East Coast line from London, including the overnight sleeper. The main line continues north to Aberdeen. Automobiles: Dundee is served by an excellent network of roads with motorway and dual carriageway from the North, West and South. More relaxing tourist routes are also well sign posted, through Angus, Perthshire and Fife. Main routes A90 & M90 from Edinburgh and the South. M80, M9 & M90 from Glasgow and the West.

Pleasant recently refurbished central hotel. Nice spa, helpful fornt desk and decent restaurant on site.Bit lacking in atmosphere but fine for a business trip or short stopover. Works going on at rear re ramp to Tay Bridge so be sure to get a waterfront facing room until they are completed.
Nice hotel, good location. Staff responded quickly to my requests for an outside connection to the phone, and readjustment to my bill as I had been incorrectly charged for four breakfasts. I would stay there again.
Adequate accommodation but having travelled mainly in Asia the expectation of a 4 star hotel was not met.
The Apex Dundee is a 4 Star hotel with 3 Star matresses in the guest beds. The internet in the rooms, and safe parking in a locked area are free of charge.

had a great two night stay. the hotel is very central for having a wander along the Tay, plenty to see there with Discovery Point etc. Hotel was very nice, staff excellent. Couldn't fault it at all :)

Very helpful front desk and hotel is handy for tourists basing themselves in Dundee and business people. Nice, well-appointed spa. Try and get rooms overlooking the dock and not the car park. Minor quibble: cleaning staff are EXTREMELY NOISY in the morning.Clean,well-appointed, modern rooms and FREE wifi.
Stayed on a B&B basis. Breakfast very good, large selection, quality good. Staff efficient and friendly. Nice pool and gym. Central location with good parking. Hotel would benefit from bar being in a room of its own rather than in foyer.
Good base to explore Dundee and the surrounding countryside.

Excellent location right in the centre of Dundee-great for shopping and going out. Hotel facilities good and room sizes better than normal-its was nice to have a seating area. Nice touch is the complimentary rubber duck.
we rated the service as average as we really did not use any other services in the hotel during our stay.
