"The hotel staff was extremely helpful with a problem I encountered while trying to use my telephone card. The receptionist went out of her way to secure a new access number for my service. Without her help, my contact to the States wold be very limited. They also stored my bags after I checked out. ( I had a late train out of Rome that evening). It allowed me to do some sightseeing without having to drag all my luggage around. Thanks to all at the Aphrodite! " - Anthony Mucha
"Located within 150 metres of the exit to Central Termini, it gave us the ideal central base for getting around Rome. A supermarket directly across the road made was very convenient, although you could not buy Coca Cola! The room was a reasonable size, but the shower was the smallest I have ever encountered - 60cm (2ft) square with a corner entry, so if you are a large person you would find it difficult to enter and exit. The lack of tea/coffee making facilities we found to be dissappointing - considering a kettle costs about E10 and a couple of tea bags and coffee bags is a pittance. Breakfast was a good value smorgasboard. All in all considering the cost, it wa sfair value for money. " - David Birch
"Acceptable room-size, nice bathroom, clean, everything looks rather new (this review is written in 2004). Locating is on busy road facing the station, so surrounding is not the top, double glass windows block noise perfectly however. Location is perfect for train to airport, underground and busses. Most attractions (what a beautiful town!) are even at walking distance. Breakfast and service are average. Not cheap for the category, but intend to take the same Hotel at my next stay." - Gerhard de Vries

From Fiumicino Leonardo da Vinci Airport : take direct train to Termini, that runs every 30 mins and takes half hour. The first train is at 6.37 am and the last train at 11.37 pm.
From Termini station : take exit near platform 1 and turn right onto Via Marsala ; we are located 50 metres on the left hand side. |
