Apogia Hotel Nice

We found it very inconprehensative not being able to open/shut down the air condition after our wish. We missed the Eurosport-channel on the telly. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast did not keep up the good standard all along our stay, as an example the pain au chocolat was not fresh at all.

The individual rooms were large and the bathroom facilities were good. Location described as 10 minutes from the Rue des Anglaises with its beaches, but this is not really the case - more like 20-30 minutes. The hotel seems to be used largely by tour companies and therefore was often empty. In the whole of the six days we stayed here, we never saw anyone have a drink at the bar! Breakfasts were fine but again we often the only people in the breakfast room

Hotel car park, which is essential if staying in Nice, is very expensive to use

With easy access to tram and 15 mins to beach. Very helpful staff but the breakfast could be improved. Toilet and shower room are separated in each room which is very good and definitely worth staying!

Good location - close to a tram stop and only 15mins walk into the old town. The reception staff could have been friendlier despite trying to communicate in French!

This is a good hotel in the price range nice decore and good size bedrooms. However it does take 10-15 minutes to walk to the sea front. Good selection of resturants within walking distance. Breakfast was adequate but a larger range of items would be better.

I am a frequent visitor to Nice, and this is a terrific find. A marvellous location in the residential part of the old town, with the port a pleasant fifteen minute stroll away. The rooms are comfortable, modern and quiet. Friendly and efficient front desk service.

The room was clean and very spacious. There was a wardrobe space in the hallway and a toilet separate from the bathroom. The staff were very patient and helpful.

Good hotel, friendly and efficient; some need for updating, but this seemed to be going on. Excellent buffet breakfast; good location for Old Town, MAMAC, Port etc.
