Nice quiet street - easy access to all the sites by tram or walking - nice decor - looked as if it was newly renovated - breakfast was a bit pricey
Apollo first is a cosy hotel and well maintained. The staff are very pleasant and friendly , and very helpful and it is only 10 mins by tram to city centre, a bit far to walk, especially in winter.

Classic European hotel with good service, very pleasant breakfast rooms, accommodating staff. Great location - 10 minute walk from Van Gogh & Rijksmuseum, 45 min walk or 10-minute tram-ride to Central station. In a very nice neighbourhood. Large room. No pool or other such facilities - perfect base from which to exploare Amsterdam.

The rooms were nothing special, but the service certainly was! These folks were VERY accomodating to us, and we are planning to stay there again should we have the opportunity. Public areas were lovely, breakfast delicious! A bit off the beaten path, and in a nice residential area - someplace we would not have seen had we not stayed at this hotel. So glad we took the chance.
