"Very small room but that was the only disadvantage really. Ample breakfast was included and we were able to walk to all the main attractions with a bit of stamina. Very convenient location to the train station which is important ofter any long trek." - Graeme Lange

"Price a little high compared to some same level left bank hotels, and quality level (freshness, space) of rooms depends highly on which room you get (the corner rooms 601, 501, 401 etc are good). But if you need to stay next to Gare du Nord or l'Est, this seems to be really good choice considering what seems to be available in the neighborhood." - Anonymous

"A friendly hotel, clean, well-kept and quiet. Cold buffet breakfast is rather simple but enough to feed you. Good location for travellers close to Gare de l'Est and Gare du Nord and the Metro (they keep your luggage for free on departure day). A very convenient place to stay, not too expensive for Paris with [website] rates (don't book directly at the Hotel, the rates are 25 to 50% more!). "In most hotels we stay there is an electric kettle but not here which was a bit disappointing. Otherwise the room was adequately well furnished, it was quiet and the staff friendly and helpful. The choice at breakfast was good to very good although a little slow in clearing up tables if you were arriving later in the morning. Overall it lived up the expectations and is literally only minutes away from Gare du Nord." - Peter Elbro
